🎉 intro to this blog! 🎉

Hi, my name is Feven and I'm about to start my accounting diploma next month in September as a mature student (I'm an early 90's baby without giving too much away! :D).

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication which I haven't really used. During my undergrad, I had a studyblr for a bit but didn't use it to post about my own studies (which I wasn't passionate about and didn't feel purposeful to me either).

I'm hoping that with this blog, I can regularly post about my progress with my accounting studies. I'm excited to have a log of my progress as a student.

I'll post about the journey to getting my diploma and becoming a CPA, any tips related to studying, accounting, etc and occasionally about some of my hobbies along the way which include learning languages, reading books, and I'm trying to get into art as well!

Competed my second intro financial accounting assignment of the semester a day early since I won’t have time tomorrow. It took a lot longer than I expected, but I’m glad it’s done and feel that I learned a lot! Since this course is condensed, I have my midterm next week already so I really need to lock in.

Also, I love my desktop background made by @cmpsbls and I don’t think I’ll ever change it!

Halfway through my first financial accounting assignment for the term due this Friday 😎 I really love this class so far, and everything is clicking. I’m really glad I prepped for the course before the semester started. I have another class (Business Law) in less than an hour. I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to learn, and it’s a subject I’m genuinely interested in! ☺️

Late post but I worked on my financial accounting assignment at a coffee shop downtown and had a peanut butter latte for the first time, which was amazing! 😋

It’s now been only one week into the summer semester now, but I think it will go really well if I’m consistent 🤞🏾 after withdrawing from my courses 2 semesters in a row, I really need this one to be my breakthrough and to succeed this term 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I forgot to post this, but I completed my first financial accounting assignment of the semester on Sunday! I stayed in the library until almost midnight and felt so accomplished after. I don’t want to speak too soon, but I think it’ll be a great semester. I’m excited to learn and prove myself this term!
