I did one of Mona a couple of months ago and was like “sure I’ll make Mondo too” (tap for better quality)

I dunno if yall read my last post where I dropped some modifications I did to Monas lore but following the same line, Mikey did also not meat mondo when he was younger either.

The Hamatos & Mutanimals alliance happened bc the Foot clan was becoming more and more powerful and Splinter was very weak, so the turtles needed another place to stay since the sewers where becoming a dangerous place to stay bc of mousers and other Foot technology. They couldn’t stay with April bc that would mean potentially endangering her and Casey was essentially homeless.

And so, they went searching for help to their mutant friends which couldn’t take them in, for a couple of reasons, BUT they said that they had obtained the contact with one of “Mr.X’s sons” — Mr.X in this au being the “leader” of the Mutanimals gang— which if negotiating correctly could mean a good place to stay, along with medical care for splinter.

And that’s where Mondo comes in place! Leo was deeply anxious about the alliance bc in the worst case scenario, if it went wrong it could mean a potential new enemy; but luckily Mikey and Mondo were like the same entity and became friends immediately making the alliance possible!

If you read my last post you’ll now that this doesn’t end so well but rest assured that some time after becoming enemies the mutanimals forgive the turtles and even help in the final battle against shredder!

So you’re the rat that almost got me killed huh.. “turtle titan”

Ok so I said that i slightly changed the lore of the mutanimals in my au, so now Mona was NOT friends with Mikey prior to “the accident” so she just knew that there was some random “turtle titan” that did not know how to mind its own business and basically outed her whole gang to the government and got her kidnapped— meaning that she got experimented on and became persecuted by the agents— so she has a big rutted hatred for him.

She then finds out 2 years later that one of the new allies of the mutanimals aka the Hamatos WAS turtle titan (Michelangelo) and she wasn’t particularly happy about that information..

In my au Mona has even more anger issues than Raph and is heavily violent and resentful (which is something that will get better, that’s kinda her character development— apart from becoming a good person and less self-centered) so she will become an inconvenience to the turtles lol. Their fault for trusting a villain tho 🤷

I changed some lore or my au I feel like I’ve finally cooked, I solved so many plot holes I’m so proud of myself ngl

The mutanimals lore goes even harder yall gonna love it trust

I think I might do some more micro comics and drawings to explain the lore and not a ginormous text like last time (don’t trust this so much lmao)

Also mikeys and jennikas lore slightly changed too bc of their initial relations wth the mutanimals, I’ll explain a lil bout this in a while

I wanted to draw one of the female turtles so I was gonna do jennika but I remembered I’ve actually never drawn Venus which is just crazyyyy

Drew her as an 87 character cuase I can and because she’s so cute & bc I love drawing the 80s turtles 🧘
