the whole "jack killed somebody while hunting theory" is only interesting to me when i think of it as jack PURPOSELY killing someone. or at the very least lost his temper and killed someone impulsively. it feels boring for it to just be some random guy he killed on accident. maybe jack killed someone for some reason and told felix, but said it was an accident and asked to help him cover it up. maybe jack has been the biggest liar and coward this whole time.
