I took inspiration for my Bat masquerade mask from the fabulous 1930′s cover illustration by Margaret Brundage for the publication ‘Weird tales’ (recently recreated in a deliciously gothic style by Abigail Larson.) This bat has a tiny sparkling galaxy inside him.
