what working a 15 hour shift with the devil himself does to a woman
one of the best feelings tbh
And re-read the same sentence because yeah it was THAT good. And I felt like I wasn't 1000% committed when I read it the first time.
i’m greened out as fuck can’t get out of bed. pls send/share your FAV les mis boots (bonus points for enjoltaire)
listen to me. this is my final message to you. when you are at your lowest a fictional guy will come to you and when that happens you must start putting them in situations. this is the meaning of life.
Al-Hashimi’s switch up on Langdon is completely logical given that she’s now recontextualized the Langdon/Santos beef. It’s likely not even about the stealing—it’s about the fact that she can now connect the dots that Langdon was a senior resident retaliating against an intern who reported him for a legitimate reason. Her understanding of how he handles power has completely shifted. Not to mention Langdon also spoke with deliberate vagueness when Al-Hashimi asked him DIRECTLY about the nature of the issue with Santos. Now that she knows the truth, his evasiveness in that prior exchange is probably more damning than the actual info. If anything, she might even take it as Langdon trying to manipulate HER (and lowk he was, just to protect himself).
So of course she’s now gonna make sure he’s not steamrolling over Javadi (even if that wasn’t his intent). She probably has questions about his treatment of those who rank lower than him and is moving quickly to put up guardrails until she has a better picture of what’s going on. I’m interested to see what she does next or if she takes any action this season at all, but so far I appreciate how often we’ve seen her immediately reorient herself to protect the most vulnerable person/people in a situation.

imagine being forged in the hellfire of the PittFest MCI on your first shift as a 20 yr old MS3 and some prehistoric cunt who refused to learn windows 98 calls you a snowflake
i will die your daughter (quit fucking around, no time to kill) Available as a print here!
Santos telling Whitaker she's mad about Langdon being an asshole and that being what Langdon apologizes for (being an asshole) in his sincere but not good apology. her projecting about him potentially relapsing while she's on the verge of her own relapse of self-harm. oh, Santos and Langdon parallel arcs are so good when people aren't trying to tell you one is totally wrong and one is totally correct. luckily for us the writers know that yay
Whitaker is easily liked because he’s compliant. Santos isn’t easily liked because she’s defiant. The most well liked person in the room caring about the most “difficult” person to like as if it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. Everyone looking at him as if he were a saint for withstanding her, when to him she is his savior. Literally the most important platonic relationship on screen right now for me. Don’t look at me.
Whitaker's delight at having actual, undeniable, evidence that Santos wants him around and likes him is everything. He's finally in a position to rib her. He's having the time of his life! He's going to ride this high for hours! He's going to take advantage of it like there's no tomorrow! Good for him, he deserves it.
my beautiful women exploding robby with their minds since they don’t have guns
Behind The Scenes photo of Thénardier during “Dog Eats Dog.” Los Misérables 2013.
watching the langdon/dennis scene is so funny knowing that langdon is probably completely unaware that dennis is trinity's roommate. like bro don't try to be all buddy-buddy with him the dude literally resides in the home of your #1 hater
oh bye bye little emma!! hope u have a nice self care night when u get home
this is gonna make no sense but whitaker acts NOTICEABLY different around santos!! and only santos!!! he’s so much looser!!! his shoulders aren’t hunched!!!!! he’s relaxed!!!! he’s chill!! for once in this life he’s doesn’t look like a scared puppy!!! he looks like a human boy!! like even the tone of his voice is more mellow!!!!
now compare that to trinity…..who is more rigid around dennis because she knows he can see thru her walls of protection…her voice tense...she looks like one of those halloween cats with the super arched backs…oh my siblings….
Not my circus but I've grown quite fond of its monkeys
