20 Awesome Female Vocalists
When are you doing film reviews again? I love your top 50 lists but I need my fix of those delightful reviews!
I’m hangin’ it up man. Putting more focus into my actual writing and my teaching gig. I will say that if you need a good fix on Netflix you should check out Tangerine, Queen of Earth or Making a Murderer. All were great. If you’re going to the theaters you should see Carol first and foremost, but the Big Short and Spotlight were both good.Star Wars was a solid 7.5/10, which makes me think JJ Abrams’ plot this whole time was to make people, for once, think that Star Trek is better.

PIXAR’s the Good Dinosaur was aptly named. If it had been called the Great Dinosaur it would have been a lie. Spotlight was disappointing, all the Harpoon IPA product placement took me out of the film. Don’t get me wrong, it was still borderline great, but if the film didn’t end on the knockout punch that it does, it would be forgettable. It’s super well made and Ruffalo is perfect, but it’s not a 93/100 metacritic film.

#01. Miller’s Crossing (1990), Joel & Ethan Coen
I know it’s odd, but above is actually my favorite scene in any film. The script for Miller’s Crossing is so tightly written that it should be bound between pages and sold at every single bookstore. It is one of the greatest texts I have ever read, you can read the whole thing here: x.
Thanks Y’all
It’s been fun. Account been hacked.
