I’m the host in a heavily suspected system but due to not having a diagnosis yet and being uncomfortable with personally self diagnosing at the time being, we just call ourselves “plural” and often go back and forth in what pronouns we use to refer to ourselves (first and collective/plural pronouns). That being said, no matter who is in the front seat with me, we would prefer to just be referred to as billy as a collective unless given personal and situational permission. Seeing as most of us are introjects or stem from introjects of both horror media and original characters from personal works, it makes us uncomfortable to directly interact or be sought out by those who are attracted to, yumeship/selfship with, etc characters that any of us happened to stem from or source from. why is it – i know why. this is a rhetorical question – that so many people have a fixed idea of what A Romance looks like and will mold the characters to fit it. rather than molding what the romance looks like to fit how the characters think and act.
