Fanfic commissions are on too
As you might know, North Italy (where I do live) has been in lockdown since February 23rd and we won’t be able to get out at least until the end of Easter time (which means after April 12th). At first, they told us it was April 3rd, but the government extended the lockdown period. This means that I haven’t worked for the entire month of March and probably I won’t be able to work on April too.
I do not work for a company, I work in tourism, and I get paid just for the actual hours I’m at my job (the exhibition I was working before COVID19 was supposed to end March 15th, I already got another job in a different exposition, but that one too has been closed because of the virus). Basically: no work, no money.
Despite this situation, I still have expenses, though, and those will get even worse once universities will open again. I live in the North of Italy, but my University is in Florence, and that means that I’ll have to pay for the train and a hotel room once I could get out from Lombardy. I do not want to ask money to my parents, especially for something such as my studies, and for this reasons I decided to open some fanfic slots alongside with the art commissions on which I’m currently working.
how does it work?
I’ll accept ko-fi payments only
you can see most of my fanfics on my AO3 account
I’m offering just MCU fics slot (this includes all the tv series and all the movies in the extended universe BUT for the x-men ones because I’ve never watched them)
The payment will depend on the lenght of the fic and we will decide it together before I start to write the piece
€3,00 every 1000 words
Open slots and prices:
n. 3 short fics (1000/2000 words) from €3,00 to €6,00 donations
n. 2 medium fics (2000/5000 words) from €9,00 to €18,00 donations
n. 1 long fic (5000/10000 words) to € 21,00 to €33,00 donations
n. 1 multichapter long fic (10000+ words) higher than €36,00 donations
I do NOT write:
positive pepp*rony, christine x pepper, any pepper x superhero relationship
excessive jeaulosy
a/b/o
mpreg
genderbend
crossdressing
lingerie kink
I do write:
pretty much everything else including but not limiting to every rating you can think about and all the rareships your mind can come up with.
disclaimer: if tou are not sure I can write what you’d like to read, just send me a message or an ask and I’ll answer immediately.
to commission me, just send me an ask or use the ko-fi message form.

Hi! We’re talking the @sortinghatchats system of character analysis, which sorts people in two ways. In this system, Primary Houses are WHY characters do what they do. Secondary Houses are HOW they do what they do.
If you’re unfamiliar with our system and want to learn more, check out our interactive quiz here or go through our basics post here.
Today we’re discussing one of the Primary “splits”: Internal Houses v External Houses.
INTERNAL PRIMARIES: SLYTHERIN AND GRYFFINDOR PRIMARIES
For Internal Primaries, answers of right and wrong come from the inside– from how they feel or from a strong inner conviction. For Slytherins, whose morality stems from loyalty, that inner motivation has to do with who they love and value. It’s those feelings of affection, connection, responsibility, and loyalty which drive their moral system. For Gryffindors, their internal compass is the main input into their moral choices– some things are just wrong, and a Gryffindor will stand against injustice until the end of things.
There’s a sort of arrogance or confidence that’s inherent to the Internal Houses. If they truly believe in what they are doing, nothing external can sway them. A Gryffindor set on their path will move mountains, and so will a Slytherin if it stands between them and their loved ones’ safety.
Gryffindors and Slytherins who are pointed in the same direction can make fierce and powerful allies. They’re both unswayable from their ultimate goals and willing to go great lengths to achieve them. So long as they agree on that goal, the alliance can be satisfying and solid. They are less likely to change their minds than a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, and that can be reassuring to both of them.
Gryffindor Korra of The Legend of Korra initially clashes but, once they’re got the same goals in their sights, allies with (and romances) Slytherin Asami. The fervency and certainty of each of their passionate Internal Primaries lets the pair understand and supplement each other, especially as they each go through rocky patches.
Asami’s Slytherin is shaken by the treason of her father, someone she held in high importance; her blooming connection with Korra helps her not lose faith in the importance of connection and loyalty. After devastating injury and failure, Korra’s faith in her own impulses and self is shaken. Asami’s patient dedication and belief in her through her recovery are a lifeline. These two Internal Primaries find faith in each other in times of certainty, and each keep the fire alive when the other one is starting to doubt or waver.
New Ask Game! What Pokemon Type/Type Duo Do You Think I Am!
Fun Vampire Fact; the reason that Vampires traditionally cannot see their reflections in a mirror is because mirrors used to be backed with a reflective layer of silver — which, as the metal of purity, would not ‘interact’ with Vampires, who are the Devil’s work.
However, modern mirrors have used aluminum as their reflective backing for many years now — and aluminum is not a ‘picky’ metal at all. So Vampires are able to see their reflections in modern mirrors.
Wonder if this also goes for all the appliances etc that incorporate silver. Imagining an increasingly frustrated vampire trying to get the blood out of his clothes but his washing machine uses silver nanoparticles so just won’t work for him
ooh this is interesting. I remember seeing stuff about not being able to take photos of vampires because of the “no-reflection” thing, which is silly cause very few cameras have mirrors in the light path to the imaging medium. But what if it’s not about reflections, but interactions with silver, and photographic film being based on light-sensitive silver halides.
Steven’s Highly Subjective Fanfiction Grading Criteria
This rubric was written by my husband a couple years ago, at the time for the purpose of a bit he wanted to write with a friend called “The Unironic Masterpiece Fanfic Theatre.” The premise of the bit was they would write a little exposé on fanfiction that they considered to be actually, objectively good (not just good by “fanfic standards”). The idea was to put a spotlight on good fanfiction in their communities and show that fanfiction is not inherently “bad” or “lesser.”
They never got around to making the show, but he’s shown me the rubric he wrote for them to use for their “grading” process and it is actually very thorough. I’d say it’s an interesting read if you’ve been in the fanfic game for a long time, and perhaps even a helpful guide if you’re just starting out reading OR writing fic and need some pointers. (he gave me permission to post this, btw) So, enjoy Steven’s Highly Subjective Fanfiction Grading Criteria!
1. Premise
The “what if.” What is the idea behind this story? What noncanonical events are happening, and what is inciting them? The best premises tend to be believable within the universe of the source material, and generally don’t require the reader to rapidly adjust their suspension of disbelief. (10 points)
2. Source-Consistency
How consistent is the fic with the source material it works with? While consistency does generally lead to better stories Most good fics will pick one element of a larger work to elaborate on while others may adopt even more elements, sometimes replicating the original tone as closely as possible. This is not always necessary for a perfect score however. For instance, a fic may diverge tonally from the work it is inspired by, but chooses to use a different tone to explore characters further. Characters may diverge from their canon counterparts, but they should still be recognizable by fans of the work when your story begins. Source divergence should be gradual and justified. (15 points)
*A note on AU’s: While an AU, by definition, diverges greatly from the source material, it still utilizes characters and/or settings from another work (otherwise it wouldn’t be fanfiction). Those elements being borrowed should still be recognizable to the reader. While an AU can easily lose several points in the Premise and Source/consistency categories, it can also easily score perfectly in both. (It should also be kept in mind that an AU can change the characterization of certain characters as well, and in this case the judgement of the quality of the characters in the AU will be more subjective than before and should focus more on how well that new characterization is written than how well it sticks to the original.)
3. Plot/Characters
Most fics will be story-driven and/or character-driven. Since the driving force of the fic is also driving the reader to continue it, these need to be good. What changes are the characters dealing with, or what circumstances are they up against? Alternately, what is happening to hold the reader’s interest? This doesn’t need to be conflict. It just needs to be interesting. (40 points)
*A note on Original Elements: Can encompass a number of points for the plot/characters category, depending on how many original elements the fic utilizes. In rare cases, bonus points may be awarded for compelling original elements woven into the fic in a way which manages to still interest the reader (after all, this isn’t what they came for)
4. Writing Quality
While subjective, quality of writing and understanding of narrative structure can greatly enhance a story. Diverse but understandable vocabulary, along with intelligent sentence and paragraph structure will earn points here. (25 points)
5. Cleanliness
Beyond the quality of the writing, we have more nitpicky things that can still make or break a story. Is the story comfortably formatted? Is it grammatically coherent? Are frequent spelling errors distracting from the story? While this doesn’t need to be “perfect” to get a perfect score, anything that manages to become an annoyance to the reader detracts from this criterion. (10 points)
6. Completeness Bonus
This is a small reward for particularly lengthy works. Any work exceeding 50,000 words which is either complete, or shows recent signs of not being dead receives a bonus. (+5 points)

The joys and wonders of being a 1-6 with low Te
I find myself struggling with the same vicious circle a lot: being a 1, when I plan my study for an exam I practically don’t leave space for relaxation and fun, because deep down I’m convinced that I wouldn’t deserve it until I’ve finished everything I’m supposed to do for school. Moreover, when I do actually force myself to stop studying and do trivial activities, I feel this black hole of anxiety in my stomach that makes me want to run back home and go back to studying, so I don’t really enjoy myself and relax (say hi to my phobic 6). The downside of this is, of course, that I can’t possibly focus and be productive for 24 hours a day, human brains don’t work that way, so I actually find myself wasting so much time instead of studying, for example watching stupid youtube videos and doing activities that let me shut off my brain and forget how anxious I feel about that exam. But when I get to the end of the day and I find myself with 90% of my daily load of study still undone, of course the anxiety comes back at full force and I feel even less deserving of free time for the following day, so the cycle begins again. I only manage to break it when, instead of going to bed, I spend half of the night awake to make up for lost time, because I don’t know why but I focus more at night (maybe I’m less distracted because there are less stimuli both from the outside world and from social media/internet, I don’t know). This applies to therapy as well: I know perfectly well that seeing a psychologist would make me less anxious in the long run, but I’m so anxious about “wasting” time that I give up on the idea altogether. So… Help? Please?
(You don’t want to wind up disintegrated into 4 like Norrington in POTC 2. ;)
You have several issues going on, which I’ll address individually.
First, Tritype issues – the curse of double-productive fixes (1 + 6). I suffer from the exact same issue, which compounds low Te into demanding “results” for my time and guilt-trips me into not taking “down time.” The solution is to set reasonable goals per day, achieve those, and quit working, forcing yourself to walk away and go have a good time, because you have “earned” it by finishing your task or at least making a dent in it. If you are anything like me, even when you have major demands on your time (work / school), you may face the temptation to be productive in your down time. I am notorious for heading into my big work week (it demands lots of Te/Si, which is draining) and not stopping my writing, which means I “work” myself into exhaustion, rather than taking a break from writing for a week. It’s stupid, but I compulsively attempt to do both and exhaust myself. So, you have to self-discipline yourself enough to fill self-preservation “rest” needs.
Second, Enneagram 1 issues. 1s have issues with relaxation and having fun. They often feel they aren’t deserving of these things, and should not take time off to rejuvenate. You have to work toward integration (moving toward 7’s ability to have fun / relax / enjoy life), which means, again, carving out time to enjoy yourself, guilt-free. If you have to adopt a mantra of self-talk (“I deserve this free time and fun, I am not going to beat myself up for taking it or guilt myself into going back to work”), so be it. But focus on working toward integration.
Third, low Te blind spots. High Te is logical. It knows the body can only take so much, and over-working produces lackluster results. Logic tells you your body needs rest, food, and mental down-time to keep you on top of your game. Low Te’s generally superficially are aware of this, but keep going anyway, since they don’t take it too seriously and/or assume they can wing it forever.
If you are incapable of taking mental time off, this means you are likely also: not eating right or taking care of your physical needs. Do you know what “brain foods” are? Are you eating breakfast? Are you doing most of your mentally-heavy work in the morning when your brain is optimal and refreshed? Are you getting a full 6-8 hours of sleep every night? Are you limiting your “blue light” exposure in the evening, by not texting / surfing on your phone / staring at your laptop until you fall asleep? Are you exercising? Etc.
Low Te overdoes Te, meaning FPs wake up one day, usually in their 20’s, and realize how much time they “waste” and think they need to grow up, get serious, and mass produce things all the time. Thus, you wind up with looping / gripping FPs. To disengage a loop or a grip, which means you are out of balance, you must re-engage the missing function. Se/Ne or Fi. What does this mean? Get off work / school, and go find something to do that uses one of those functions, rather than falling into Te “I need to get back to work” thinking.
You are tired. STOP.
Therapy is not wasting time, if it’s helpful to you. You only get one of you, and you get to spend your whole life with yourself – you owe it to yourself to “get better” and get professional help for the things you cannot overcome yourself. Spending time in therapy now to stop compulsive/harmful behaviors will save you a lot more time later on after you have hit rock bottom and burn out.

Send me three MCU characters (both movies and TV series) and I’ll order them from favorite to least favorite!
send me three marvel movies and i will put them in order from my favorite to least favorite!
This is so important. Even when you feel unworthy of every single thing, you are still just as worthy as your highest potential.
I love how the MCU movies made a point of showing both Thor’s and Steve’s flaws and still deemed them worthy of Mjolnir.
