Little secret I’ve been a LIFELONG Final Fantasy series fan and took on a fun personal project to do a portrait for heroines across the Final Fantasy series for its 30th anniversary. ✨  I really hope you like them!!

I still have FF7-15 to post (and maaaaybe a couple bonus titles 😉). —  Celes and Terra from Final Fantasy VI (1994).  When I was young, I always imagined that they were the prettiest girls you would meet.  Today I made Celes a blonde/yellow queen and Terra with that same semi-sad expression she usually has. – See them all!

Terra Branford from FF6

I was going for that etheral, distant feel you get from her character on Yoshitaka Amano’s concept artworks. I suppose I have only myself to blame for being dissatisfied with the result : I had completely forgotten how Terra’s color theme made her look like a Christmas tree. Green and red, with pink undertones and gold shiny jewelry, seriously? *sighs* Merry Christmas in advance, I suppose?

Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI (originally Final Fantasy III in America), released by Square Co. of Japan in October, 1994.

I was very inspired by Yoshitaka Amano when I was a kid, though it may not seem like it today. The baroque flourishes of detail were always very captivating.
