Regarding the transphobic harassment of a wplace mod:
I think it would be inappropriate for me to continue finding art on the website for the time being.
First and foremost, I trust and believe women when they say they experience harassment. I have very little doubt that this is happening.
Second, continued use of the site—unless the administrators begin making some radical changes to how they handle transmisogyny within their ranks—I believe would constitute an implicit agreement or support for this mod's treatment.
The queue I have lined up for blog will continue for the next couple of weeks, but the various artworks I've been keeping an eye on will not be added to it, nor will I add any new small artworks to the queue, unless the attitude with the wplace team changes drastically.
As to why I'm not simply deleting the blog, I started this as a way to make a little archive of art from the site that delighted and surprised me. That hasn't changed at all about what I've posted. Some of this artwork has already been heavily vandalized to the point of being unrecognizable, and I would hate to for it all to be gone.
