Joan of Arc (aka Tart) is the best magical girl. She’s, like, completely immune to despair.  I mean, whereas Kyoko and Sayaka freaked out about their Soul Gems being their actual souls, Tart is just like “IT’S A MIRACLE!!!”

But yeah, Tart Magica is really really good and my favorite Madoka Magica spinoff aside from the Different Story. The author did a ton of research and it shows; the manga is filled with interesting historical notes and the plot itself roughly follows the actual Joan of Arc’s life. I highly recommend reading it, especially if you’re into historical fiction.

a lot of people seem to take for granted that hitomi seriously values sayaka

in the concept art of episode 11, it’s revealed that one of the silhouettes above is hitomi’s; uncontrollably crying caused by the guilt she feels over sayaka’s death. madoka, knowing the truth, is unable to comfort her

however, after madoka becomes a goddess and takes her away, sayaka doesn’t leave a body. in wraith arc, which serves as a sequel of the series, hitomi confesses she didn’t confess to kyousuke, lost sleep due to the guilt and begs kyouko for some information about her whereabouts

i hope she gets a bigger role soon!
