Definitely a cold. No more sore throat, but I do have a stuffy nose and a bonus headache. This isn’t the tastiest stuff but on the plus side, I can’t taste anything anyway.
From all of us here at FMCOT-
If you're in the path of Sandy, PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Get a cup of your favorite tea and a book, and curl up with them. Don't go anywhere if you can help it... it's insane out there.
Y'all remember that Twinings free sample thing that went around a few weeks ago?
Did anyone get their samples yet? Or have you heard from Twinings about whether or not we'll get them at all?
And which ones did you get? :3
My afternoon (Taken with Instagram)
For green teas, you want to avoid steeping them for more than 3-5 minutes or else it gets really bitter. The same goes for if you’re steeping mate.
White teas are really delicate, so if the temperature is too high, it’ll ruin the flavour.
Herbal teas need to be steeped at a higher temperature for a longer time because… well, they’re not tea leaves! It takes more to get whatever it is you’re using to release its flavour, basically.
There’s more to it, but that’s all I can remember off the top of my head.
ALLY OR ANY OF MY OTHER TEA-SAVVY BUDDIES, any input or anything to add on to what I said?

Hey, just letting y'all know we're still alive and haven't forgotten this blog.
Unfortunately, Davis, Erek, and I all have full time jobs and a bunch of other commitments, and haven’t really been able to work on FMCOT.
We’re working out where we want to go from here. There’s a few options.
We just shut it down.
We start taking applications for a NEW admin, who would get complete control of the blog.
We continue in this really pathetic manner of like one post a month.
We’re leaning towards option 2, since we put so much effort in here and don’t really want to delete. What do yall think?
