actually scratch that, he wasn't trying to save shigaraki, he was trying to save the little crying boy inside of him, I feel like that's a better way to put it. Since, in every scene where Deku reaches for his hand its always as Shimura Tenko and not Tomura Shigaraki

Now that I think about it though, the series really puts an emphasis onto separation of personalities. Like, All Might VS Yagi Toshinori, Present Mic VS Yamada Hizashi, Hawks VS Keigo Takami... HOLY FUCKING SHIT EVERYTHING ABOUT THE TOUYA TODOROKI AND BIRTH OF DABI

dont ask me about Shirakumo, I'm still trying to wrap head around the fact that Kurogiri has some consiousness of Shirakumo in the first place, but add him to the list too.

I dont think hes dead, it seems like a really weird way to go about ending it if he actually did die. Especially considering how much effort he, Aizawa, and Yamada put into this. (I know the manga didnt delve as deep into this as I wanted, pero that's what vigilantes is for neways, so im not mad)

side note:

bruh if im wrong about this, its gonna be so embarrassing, pero still, even if im gonna be wrong, i dont think i would be mad at the outcome (depending on what happens ofc). The only thing that remotely scares me is Izuku being quirkless, kasi i cant think of a single way that would even have the chance at being a satisfying ending...

okay, maybeeeee if they make a callback to when hawks said his dream is a society where no one needs heroes. I think that would be an interesting outcome, pero thats also still iffy

I don’t think I ever updated the progress on this project. It’s probably been half a year at this point since I did anything with it, but I wanted to get some more motivation for continuing it. the color scheme did go through a bit of a change from the last, but still needs to be more cohesive

by now I’ve resigned myself that there’s plenty of assets I have to remake in higher resolution, start from scratch with the animation (the paths did something weird that I’m not sure how to undo, cause what I tried didn’t work), the red canary effect and actually do the rest of the story
