I’ve never posted anywhere before and I’m generally someone who only lurks places— but I am in desperate need of help. I’m trying to get out of a household that has been both mentally and financially abusing me. My parents are trying to run me down to nothing while threatening to kick me out and ensuring that I have no funds and that no one will be able or want to help me. This environment is growing increasingly hostile and I am paying outrageous rent to be in a house I don’t feel safe in and a room they use as storage.
I’ve had to expedite my moving process and plan to stay with a friend for a while so I can prepare to move into an apartment from somewhere that won’t be trying to ensure I don’t have the means to get anywhere as a form of punishment. My parents refuse to communicate with me about when they’re expecting me out, but I am not making the money to be able to keep up with their demands and I know that they will be kicking me out at the point that I run out regardless.
I need to be out of this house as quickly as I can. My safety is at risk. Whether sharing or donating, any form of help is greatly appreciated.

Note: today's whumptober prompt response was written for a monster of the week campaign i'm in with some friends called the metamorphosis project! astrid is the character i play, she has the spooky playbook and has a haunted rabbit plush that gives her weird powers. then graham is the chosen, blake is the wronged, tabi is the monstrous, and dottie is the spooktacular. they've all banded together to take down some meat-like mutant creatures that are threatening both the human and the monster world! there's a few other things, but that's the main gist of it :)

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a longer comic series online, so I may be a bit of trial and error how I organize it, but-
1. All pages will be linked back to here, the “cover”, and also to each other as more pages get added
2. Updates are going to be weekly, around 10 pages (maybe sometimes less depending on what feels like a more natural pause point). For now pages will be posted on Wednesdays, if anything changes I will keep everyone updated
