My Beautiful Furry Life

I never imagined the love my Tana gave me could be so pure and unconditional. I never imagined losing her could be so gut wrenching and heart breaking.

However,  I’m further reminded that in life there’s loss and you succumb to it in your own time and nobody else’s. It’s your grief, your ability and capacity to feel and in your own time. Nobody can show you how or tell you what’s right.  Only you can know the way to feel. You feel the way your make up and fabric is - the cloth from whence we came. 

I will say this...  It’s up to you to find inner strength to pull that cloth up from over you, to dust yourself off, gather your wits and start fresh, knowing that something great is on the horizon.  That a loss turns into a bliss of sorts.  New beginnings have arrived and what a better way to receive them by embracing.  

It stings, it’s painful, you’re pining, crying...Compassion is based on sensitivity and without this trait, we cannot feel,  therefore we’re not Alive. 

I gave Tana aka Tanzi 11 beautiful years.  I treated her like the Rock Star she was.  She kept me sane, comforted me, adored me, got me through some heartbreak relationships and kept the psychos away.   We shared many magical times together...   And Now....  She’s on the other side watching over me, looking out for me and her adopted brother Chino who I’ll smother with affection as he’s grieving too.

I’ve never had animals/furry creatures till the latter part of my life. Thus, Tana was my first to lose.  They always say your first is the hardest.

So it’s Jan 3, 2016, a new year/ new beginning.   Adjust, Adapt and always believe that she’s eternally watching and thinking about us.

As for me...  I will never stop thinking about her and loving always.
