Don’t rant, report!

Like many of you, I was shocked and saddened to discover today that someone from our community thought it was acceptable and appropriate behaviour to leak Dan and Phil’s home address online.

Many of you have written (rightly) about how this is obviously illegal and disgusting behavior but I started to notice most posts ended along the lines of, “Shame on you, we’re going to lose all the openness and trust D&P have built up with us this year and there’s nothing we can do about it.”

There is something you can do about it.

Report it.

If you see a person/post revealing Dan and Phil’s personal information, report it! I bet you anything right now, Dan and Phil are frantically scouring the internet tying to make this disappear. But this is not their fault. This should not be their burden. It’s ours. It was the fans that did this and broke their trust so it should be us, the fans, that fix it and make things right.

If you see a post sharing Dan and Phil’s personal information online, report it.

If you see a person defending this atrocious behaviour, report them and block them.

Whether you’re a phan, anti-phan, or casual fan doesn’t matter right now. What matters is that our boys are in trouble and they need our help.

So please, if you see it report it!
