Rant about the symbolism of this piece, :v
The ribbon ,that was tied to their chests are now being held out into a void where the centre is empty because their soulmate was supposed to be there, Its Length also expressing the separation the feel from one another.
Their posture, Tense in a state of forced intertia, they seem to be at the start of a waltz but are frozen in time. Missing something.
Both looking away from eachother, symbolic to the fact they would have never met or been close if not for Iruma. Slowly they Would drift away.
The Plushie beside the scissors which symbolises that if he were gone which he is, the ribbon will be cut and sever all the ties that connect clara Valac and Asmodeus Alice together.

Calling all Mairuma fans, I have a tagging proposal for us!
So I decided to see which mairuma tags were the most popular on tumblr, and in doing so, I think I've come up with a good system for tagging stuff in our fandom. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! I don't wanna like force anyone to do anything, but these are just suggestions for anyone who wants to post fandom stuff in the future :D
below the cut are the exact numbers I got from all the tag variations I could think of, but here are the results:

My suggestions are as follows:
we migrate to only using these tags, and refrain from using any of the tags not mentioned below in the future.
mairimashita! iruma kun - the largest tag in terms of posts, the most logical since its the series' title (except most people forget to add the dash lol), tells people who see posts and are unfamiliar with the fandom the exact series name besides just the fandom acronym
mairuma or m!ik - the largest acronym tags for the series, easy to add on to characters without a last name
(anecdotally, mairuma seems to be the more popular option on twitter, esp since a lot of Japanese fans use this name)
These two were too close in numbers to really make a call on, tbh I'm fine having more than 1 fandom tag, just not 5 million lol. I'm adding a poll though just to see what y'all think.

for character tags, we could use last name first name order, since those are the largest of the tags (excluding iruma, but iruma tags are already getting votesplitting since he has like 4 different variations lol). ex: suzuki iruma, valac clara, asmodeus alice, ect.
for characters with no canon last name, we can use their first name + the agreed upon fandom acronym: ex: opera mairuma, nova m!ik, etc.
Thanks for hearing me out, and again, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions of their own please let me know, this is ALL of our fandom, so I think the decision should be determined by the community, not just me lol

i saw an art piece where purson had a bell and it made me think, i wonder if iruma has quiet footsteps? silent ones even. And (by extension) he wears a bell or two so people can hear him coming.
and How quiet do you think his footsteps are? like a "i have learned to walk quietly by accident" quiet? (yes that does happen) or a preternatural silence. even if he jumps or hops from foot to foot, not a single sound is made. Quiet enough that iruma could sneak up on even opera even. perhaps that's how/why he was bell'd
(preternatural is somewhere between natural and supernatural, iruma's instincts would be preternatural i believe, it's defined as "Beyond of different from what is natural, or according to the regular course of things, but not clearly supernatural or miraculous; strange; inexplicable; extraordinary; uncommon; irregular; abnormal.")
Christian Iruma, while in the human world, knows that one day he'll die on one of his jobs, but it's okay because at least he'll go to heaven. Christian Iruma having to come to terms with the fact that he is now literally in hell. Christian Iruma having to question everything he's ever believed because he's in hell, but demons aren't damned sinners they're their own complete race of people. Christian Iruma questioning where he'll go when he dies. Christian Iruma having to get used to a society completely devoid of christian beliefs. Christian Irumi using angelic imagery in her costumes, songs, and performances, it being seen as something completely brand-new/abstract. Ex christian Irumi making songs about her religious trauma, which no one in the demon world understands. Christian Iruma wanting to be a demon and not knowing what that means for him.

I would like to formally mark myself down as a follower of the visibly-inhuman-demonic-traits headcanon.
- Jazz and Azz having third eyelids and forked tongues, translucent skin and little scales along their cheekbones. Jazz’s fangs are narrower and hollow, because he’s poisonous; Azz, though his clothes make him appear long and narrow, actually has significant muscle mass in his shoulders to reflect his constrictor nature, and he has to watch himself while hugging Iruma or Clara because sometimes he gets the instinct to tighten, and tighten, and TIGHTEN his hold on what is HIS.
- Sabro’s teeth and skin shining with gold and silver and bronze. You can hear him coming down the hall, like a walking suit of armor. His claws grow in the shape of black steel daggers; his front teeth are technically flat but sharp as a pair of shears, perfect for snapping off a piece of metal, and his lips are heat resistant and black.
- Clara’s teeth are, of course, sharp. Every single one is a tiny little fang, no molars, no incisors, just teeth all the way down, with claws to match. Everything she eats looks like a cookie cutter shark has gone to town on it, and she has a set of tiny scars around her lips from accidental self-injury, and marks along her arms from when her siblings were teething. Connor and Murph have their own sets of feet, and when she wants, they act like a pair of wheelies—pattering forward, eight steps per slipper, and gliding her down the hall.
- Elixabetta… changes, ever so slightly, depending on who or what is looking at her. Her undertone is a constantly shifting rainbow, her eyes just that shade of hazel that seems to be every color at once. Never settling in one form, always exactly what the beholder finds most attractive.
- Kerori standing still can get mistaken for a lovely statue, or a horrifyingly perfect frozen corpse. Blue undertone, white lips, skin smoother than ice. You can hear the crackle when she moves, and her hair shines like hoarfrost.
- Purson never being quite solid. His edges blurring, his voice fading in and out. Similarly, sometimes Lied fuzzes in and out like a badly aligned TV, suddenly hard to perceive and other times WAY too sharp to be real.
- Caim giving off the same uncanny valley as a deer standing on two legs. Familiar, but Wrong. And then he opens his mouth and makes it worse. Allocer’s empty stare like a blinded predator that still knows EXACTLY where you are, moving like a tiger seconds from pouncing, muscles tense. Retractable claws and every once in a while, he’ll hiss or yowl.
- Gaap’s limbs sometimes twisting in the wrong directions, extending too far or flexing wrong to fit into a humanoid body plan, before he quickly tucks them back into place, always pretending to be less horrific than he is. Little glimpses of chaos when his hair flicks the wrong way, leaving those who see it blinking spots out of their eyes, only for it to show up in their nightmares.
- Agares SEEMS normal enough, his weird hairdo not withstanding… but the longer you spend with him, the more enticing a nap sounds. He’s right, everything is so exhausting all the time… a little nap wouldn’t hurt, right…? And when you give into it, all you’ll dream of is an infinite spiral of orange, draining you down and down and down until you’ve forgotten there was ever a world beyond it.
- Iruma doesn’t realize it, but he’s just as strange to them as they are to him. Even with his masking cologne, even with the scented soaps Opera buys in bulk, something about him is just so… sweet. Not just his personality. Standing next to him is like standing in a bakery; surrounded by comfort and the animal satisfaction of food being nearby.
