I am preparing to write a play for my capstone in theatre... I am feeling daunted by the complexity I've found in just the preparations... may I ask you for some words of wisdom/advice/encouragement?

It’s not that complicated. People have been writing plays for thousands of years. Most of them wrote something that was not great when they started out, but then they got good. Do it, and make mistakes, and learn in the doing.

Here’s a prototype oto plushie! It has a sucker for a mouth! This one was coloured with markers, but I’ve been putting together a design to get printed digitally so I can make a bunch of these little suckers for sale!

My project: planting started

Today, I spent the evening planting the in-vitro plants from Hortilab. I still have to attach some mosses and place the anubias and bucephalandras from my previous tank… but that will be tomorrow… my back is killing me now :)

Missing Betta.

So I think my cat ate my fish. I can't find him anywhere. I even checked around his tank to see if he jumped out. His water is very clean though so I don't think that's what happened. I think I just need to take a break from Bettas for a little while. I don't have the best luck with them ☹️

Yes I have limitations, yes I get debilitatingly sick frequently, yes there are things I cannot do. But I am the one who sets my own boundaries, no one else has the right to tell me what I am capable of.

<3 Try telling my 8 year old sister she can't do something. Or that she can't be the best at something. Cystic fibrosis controls a lot of things in her life but it has no control over her crazy ambitious spirit.
