i was just reminded by a gifset that sam's goa'uld sensing ability extends to teal'c's symbiote. and like idk that is just kind of special to me. she always knows if he's there, she greets him when he enters a room without turning round because she knows it's him. taking comfort in his presence on a whole different plane because of this extra connection, this additional way she's grounded when he's around. i wonder how it must have felt to adjust to that once he lost his symbiote and began taking tretonin instead. i wonder if after that she started to jump whenever he appeared in a room, because she before was so used to just being able to sense him. i wonder how long it took her to stop feeling like something was wrong every time she saw him, now that reassurance has been taken away.

Just started SG-1 Season 9, and......what the actual gods-damn fucking HELL is this unholy abomination calling itself SG-1?

Carter, Daniel, and Teal'c were good, and I could possibly grow to like Mitchell, but the rest in "Avalon"? No. Awful. Get me the real SG-1 team back

I didn't mind the trade for Jonas Quinn, because it made sense for the plot, he wasn't too different from Daniel, and he was THE ONLY change being made. This might as well be the start of a whole-ass other show.
