This is kind of relieving? I kept getting this song on Spotify, and I generally liked it, but found that part of the song hard to get past, so I've been kind of avoiding Doechii content in general.

Now that it's not supposed to be transmisogynist, I think it brings up another question. The lyrics seem to imply she's having a harder time with it after finding out the other partner is a DL gay man, so does that mean it's worse that her partner was bi/DL gay? There seems to be some latent homo/biphobia still, and I feel like this form of homo/biphobia doesn't get examined often.

i hate guilt-tripping posts and i don't want to make this one but i do want to observe that a post i made trying to raise people's hopes around the mass response to facist rioting in the UK got thousands of notes very quickly and has been seen by lots and lots of people, and this post which is asking you to do the antifascist work of trying to save a man's life by signing a petiton--which takes literally a minute, you don't even need to verify your email--hasn't even made it to 70 people yet. i'd also like to point out that petitions do change things, the innocence project has said as much, you will help make a difference, your voice does matter, and marcellus williams deserves to live. we all do. help keep him alive, please.
