Finally finished the daily schedules for me and my son! I'm so happy with how they turned out, but they were so much more time consuming than I thought they were going to be.
I've been following these rough draft schedules for us the last couple days and it's been so helpful to staying on top of things!
But I knew I wouldn't be happy unless I sat down and really finished them out.
I think the key to keeping on track with these and not getting discouraged is going to be to stay flexible. You can see I have "Pick Up" or "Clean Up" a couple different times on my schedule. That's nothing in particular, just a space I've set aside because I know that the things that need to be done each day vary so much. So if I need to start laundry, I do. Or clean the bathroom. Or pick up toys or whatever needs to be done in the moment. Just do it for 30 minutes.
It's also helped keep me on task because I know that there's time set aside for other chores. So I don't switch between dishes and sweeping because they'll be time for dishes later. And then I get more done.
So far the hardest part has been getting up on time! Ask me anything you're wondering about these!
Take just a minute (2 min 1 sec) to see the hard working women of the past. Realize that this is who we are now. Their work and their struggle was important and so is ours. They didn't have to be glamorous to be amazing and neither do we.
