Intuition is real. Vibes are real. Energy doesnât lie. Tune in.
I cannot stress this enough- Build a routine. Build Habits. Wake up every day and get used to being productive, one day at a time. Do this for long enough and eventually youâll be at your goal without even realising it.Â
eleven little self care tips for students
Get enough sleep. Your brain needs it. Set yourself a âbed timeâ and fall into the routine of going to bed and waking up at the same times each day.
Drink water and lots of it. Aim for 2 litres a day. This oneâs easy, you can do it. Ditch the juices and carbonated beverages, just add a slice of lemon to your water if you feel like something fancy.
Allow yourself to switch off. Donât be afraid to read books that have nothing to do with your studies. Go to the cinema. Work out. Take your mind away from your workload.
Take care of your skin. Wash your face every morning and night. Moisturise after every shower and bath. Donât go to bed with your make-up on, no matter how tired you are.
Talk to your friends and family about something other than school. Donât let your studies detach you from the things going on around you.
Work out. Even just once a week, or whenever you can. Go for a walk or a run, maybe just for 15 minutes. Follow along with a YouTube exercise video from the comfort of your own home or try out some yoga moves.
Make time for your hobbies. Studying is your full time job, but thereâs plenty of hours left in the day. Donât neglect the things you love.
Cook. Sometimes all we have time for is microwave noodles, but donât fall into the habit of relying on the basics. Youâll feel the difference.
Donât forget to laugh. Watch a hilarious film. See a comedian at a local venue. Watch funny videos on YouTube. Reminisce with friends. Itâll do you good.
Ditch the caffeine. Donât rely on Starbucks. Itâs delicious but you donât need it. Save up all the money youâd usually spend on coffee and treat yourself to something instead.
Make your bed every morning. Youâll be grateful at the end of a long day when you can get into a cosy bed that doesnât look like you just rolled out of it.
These are all v important
âbe stubborn about your goals but flexible about your methods.â the best advice Iâve ever received.
1. Do not be afraid to feel. Be soft, be gentle, be a roaring hurricane if thatâs what your heart is telling you. You are an intricate creature of emotion. Do not still your flames. 2. Set your alarm 5 minutes early. Give yourself 5 minutes to lay there in resilience. Then get up and go. 3. Do not forget the importance of those who ask you how you are. Who ask you how your day was. Notice those who check in on you. The world can be a dark place, surround yourself with those who care. 4. You may not look like that girl in the photo, or the girl you just walked past in the street. But that does not make you any less beautiful. You are simply a different kind of flower. 5. Do not be ashamed of your interests and your passions, the music you like, the books you read, what you enjoy doing on a Sunday. Be proud of the light in your eyes when you speak about it. 6. Understand the difference between good and bad attention. There are those that see you simply for what you offer on the outside, but there are also those who are fascinated by the miracles you offer on the inside too. 7. Donât take yourself too seriously. You are only human. Forgive yourself when you need to and laugh at yourself often. 8. Despite how it may seem now, your family will not be around forever. Make the effort while you can. These people are your blood, your life source, your first friends. 9. Never stop learning. This world is full of wonder. Be curious about what it holds, the nature, the history, the people. There will always be something new. 10. Make good stories. The present is the youngest youâll ever be again. There will come a day where you look back upon your life, and memories will be all you have left. Go make some.

i need early sunrise missions, road trips, spontanous adventures, breakfast dates, bike rides, hikes, runs, deep conversations, like minded people, markets hangouts, concerts. Those small, yet so meaningful and memorable things are what brings joy to my life. Connections, making memories, experiencing things, being surrounded w/ nature; thatâs what i need in life.Â
5 THINGS YOU CAN DO EVERY DAY TO BE HAPPY
1 - Brisk 20-minute walk. Studies show three 20-30 minute walks a week outperform, from a happiness perspective, test groups on anti-depressants and test groups doing both the walking and taking the anti-depressants. (Penn State / Babyak, American Psychosomatic Society)
2 - The 20-Minute Replay. Journal for 20 minutes about a positive experience you had during the day. Your mind will relive the experience as you write and relive it again when you read your journal. A tripling effect. (University of Texas, âHow Do I Love Thee, Let Me Count The Wordsâ)
3 - Commit A Random Act of Kindness. Surprise someone a coffee, hold the door open for your coworkers, send a thank you note to an old teacher. (Lyubomirsky)
4 - Meditate. Studies show meditation increases the activity in our pre-frontal cortext â the part of the brain responsible for attention and focus. (Massachusetts General Hospital)
5 - Write down 5 gratitudes. If you can be happy with simple things, it will be simple to be happy. The research here had students write down five gratitudes, events, or hassles. Those writing down gratitudes vastly outperformed the other two groups after ten weeks. (Emmons / McCullough)

Habits of Highly Effective People
1. Cut out everything thatâs unimportant and seek to focus on what matters in your life.
2. Make sure you include frequent breaks in your schedule as weâre more productive when we work in shorter blocks.
3. Get rid of all distractions when you sit down to work â so close down tumblr, twitter, email and facebook. Also, work somewhere quiet where you wonât be found as interruptions can break your concentration.
4. No matter what you do, itâs essential that you seek to keep on developing your creativity. When we feel inspired, working doesnât take much effort as weâre in the flow and feeling good about ourselves.
5. Try and make the most of those pockets of time that are often wasted when weâre hanging around (for example, as weâre using public transport or weâre waiting for a friend).
6. Donât let other people distract you from your course. At the end of the day, it is your life not theirs. You need to be committed and true to yourself.
