Hit all my goals today but feeling kind of crappy. Did a spin class at lunch and an intro to pole after work, but then took some progress photos and couldn't help but just see how flabby I look. I guess I've gotten too routine with my spin workouts but it feels like I should be looking better for how hard I work. There is clearly work to be done in terms of my eating too. Maybe getting back into my fitblr will help me find some motivation and consistency because tonight I'm feeling pretty dejected.

Why does “you get what you pay for” only apply to consumers and not employers?

Why do employers offering minimum wage expect dedicated, hard working, knowledgeable, experienced employees instead of just someone who shows up and does the job?

If you’re only willing to pay the minimum, you should only expect to get the minimum.

Polite request to some of the men I seem to encounter on a daily basis:

If you approach a lift / elevator and there’s a woman waiting for it to arrive with the “up” button light to indicate that the person has pressed the button and is patiently waiting and it’s on its way, you don’t need to throw yourself at it, pumping furiously at the button that’s already lit. The light on the button means “We already got this covered”. You don’t have special lift summoning skills in your testicles. My breast don’t contain elevator inhibitors.
