And can someone give me some?? Lol! I always tell people to be patient when putting on muscle. It takes TIME!! Bodybuilding is not a sprint but a marathon HOWEVER, that's does NOT prevent me from getting impatient. I am being totally honest in that I might be a slight hypocrite, but I will continue to trust the process! A full week 1 on my new diet plan from my coach is almost up (yay!) and I feel pretty good. My workouts Monday and Tuesday were rough this week. My husband has been in China since last Friday but is en route home and should be here soon. Another yay! My daughter came down with a fever late Saturday afternoon and had issues trying to kick it! I had to workout from home using my neighbors weights and my exercise ball. I did chest and glutes on Monday and shoulders and triceps on Tuesday. Omg... That glute workout! It was light but man I was breathing heavy! I got a good routine from my coach's girlfriend and I almost cheated on a few of the exercises...but then I remembered my patience and how growth doesn't happen if you cheat. You have to persevere and push yourself out of your comfort zone! I completed the workout and only cried for about 30 seconds hehe. Yea so patience... (I'm kind of all over the place so forgive me) The judges at JrUSA said that I needed to build more muscle in my hamstrings and glutes as well as build some more quads. I also need a little more muscle in my upper half (traps and chest). Honestly, these were areas I neglected with the exception of glutes. I have always wanted larger quads, but just wasn't sure what to do especially when it comes to competition. I'm so glad I have Travis as a coach because I am no longer stressing about what I should eat, do, etc. He is guiding me and I can follow. I also get explanations to questions he answers which is also awesome! Like how the seated leg curl targets inner hams and the lying targets the outer. Who knew??? No wonder I don't have any hamstrings lol!!! My next show date is March 26, 2016. A LONG time away, but I keep thinking it might not be long enough. How soon can I grow? How soon will I have those muscles I have desired for so long? For now, I need to stick to the plan, stay focused, and dig deep for every ounce of patience I can find...

A BIG Announcement!!
Yes! Well, for me, this is big and I'm super excited. As you all know, I have been doing my own muscle building and contest prep on my own using Fighter Diet. I still LOVE FD and it will always be a staple in my fitness life. Seriously! You want to make some changes, you need to jump on the train with it!! When it comes to contest prep and using the tools I have, I'm struggling a bit and just need some guidance. I am pleased to announce that I've officially joined Travis Robinson and Team Terminator for the 2016 season! I have talked with Travis and I'm very confident in his ability to help me get to that next level I desire. He is even going to help me with using FD to incorporate in where appropriate! I'm very excited to work with Travis and I'm even happier that my husband is 100% supportive of this move. I was a bit nervous even bringing it up to him, but when I did, he agreed and said that some help and extra support would be a great idea. Yay!!!! Travis came highly recommended to me by a dear friend; it's important to do as much research about potential coaches and ask tons of questions. Travis was open to answering all the questions I had and was very patient with me. Definitely someone I will work well with! 😁 So this year, I don't have any more shows which is perfectly ok. I'm going to spend the next several months growing and sculpting my body to prepare it for a great competition season in 2016! I will keep you all in the loop on my progress with Travis and my new team! Gah, it feels so good to say that.... 😊

So here I am in all my fluffy glory. My body has finally adjusted somewhat to the added calories, but it's going to take me some time before I lean out again. Ab definition is definitely based on low body fat and I'm not as low as I was for my show and that's ok. I've been following my self calculated #buttbiblechallenge diet and have removed cardio so some fluffiness is to be expected. Fat gain is something that comes with the muscle building territory, but minimizing it by eating lots of the RIGHT foods makes leaning out later a hell of a lot easier! Just goes to show that I don't look show ready all the time, but I still have goals in mind.
