inspired by the biblical passage from Genesis 24:15-50, The artwork depicts a pivotal scene from the Book of Genesis, where Abraham’s servant meets Rebecca at the well and presents her with a bracelet as a sign of betrothal to Isaac.

Some time ago, I came across the profile of a man who enjoyed crocheting all kinds of characters in his own unique way. Since I found it interesting, I reached out to him and asked for his interpretation of Lila and Five.
It ended up being two figures inspired by the looks of “Season 3 Lila” and "Subway Five" It’s actually a pretty chaotic and unconventional portrayal—but you know what? I kind of like it!
And I also find it admirable that this was created by a man using just a few photos and his imagination—meanwhile, I wouldn’t be able to make anything with a crochet hook, lol. 😆

I'd rather read 1001 badly written stories than a single generative AI one.
I love knowing how much time and effort incredible artists (including you in this!!) put into their work, that's what makes it special. That's what makes it unique and worthwhile and ART.
It's why I know I'm not amazing, but I keep trying. Because the process is what makes the art. Art isn't the finished product. It's the time, the creativity, the love for it that goes into it. That's what makes it truly beautiful
Uh. Thanks for sharing your opinion, and if it offended you, I’m sorry…
Anyway, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using AI, as long as it’s stated that it’s AI-generated. Using images or texts and claiming them as your own is, of course, very low. And I definitely don’t support that!
That said, I’m not going to pretend to be some moral authority here. Don’t like it? I understand and respect that. Personally, I enjoy exploring what AI can do these days. That’s all it means.
If the majority of the audience has a problem with it and it seriously offends all followers, I’ll delete it.
It’s interesting that you refer to the pushback against AI-generated art as merely an opinion. The majority consensus among artists is to not feed or encourage AI art, and this has been a major topic of discussion since 2020, when these models were first introduced. I remember doing my due diligence—researching, and reading articles written by artists. There’s more harm beneath the surface than you might think.
Every image that’s uploaded doesn’t just train the model—it actively asks the model to define, reduce, and remodel someone else’s entire life’s work and artistic style for your own benefit.
Now that these styles have been created (along with millions of others from various fandoms), not only will Hayao Miyazaki never see a penny for his life's work being used, but the question becomes: who does get credited for this media?
Certainly not you. Not Miyazaki. Not the AI—which isn’t a living being and is incapable of original thought. And yet, it sounds like you want to credit the AI in your post.
To this day, no one has produced a signature style as distinct and significant as the Ghibli aesthetic, except Miyazaki himself. His work is so recognizable that it doesn’t even require a signature—anyone can look at it and know it’s his and his studio’s. So, should we credit the studio for all the data the model was fed in order to create this?
This isn’t just some opinion floating around among artists in this fandom or on this platform. It’s a well-documented and ongoing issue that has been circulating within the art community for years. It represents the potential erasure of human creativity under capitalistic models—because at the end of the day, these AI art generators profit from user interaction and even mentions on posts.
What really irks me is that you offered an apology, then immediately followed it with reasons why you shouldn’t have to apologize. I’d recommend doing some actual research (hell, even ask AI why AI art is considered problematic), and forming a well-rounded, thoughtful opinion. Just like the so-called "art," all the information you need is still just one click away.
Whilst AI companies claim to be taking us towards the future, generative AI means less human connection and the widespread impoverishment of
