The last couple in my AU is the Whitael. I created it, partially, because I wanted to revive Douael cuz I love them too much to leave my AU without such a great character. Also, at that point, I had created Rose's family tree, but none of them besides her had an appearance. Then I thought: "what if White Zinfandel got together with Douael?" And that's how it started

Based on the original game's plot as of now, their relationship had already begun in the main timeline. In fact, I'd like to write a fanfic about them in the future. In short: White saves Doughael from the Avatar of Destiny, and from that moment on, their relationship would begin to develop, plus at least Vanilla and Rose would make an appearance, so Rose's relationship with her relatives could also be explored

Crk OCs are rarely welcome, of course, because canon characters are always more interesting, but I love my Rose more than canon XD

Currently, this is the only straight couple in my AU. In my mind, they would have been unable to get together for a long-long time because they were on opposite sides. Their relationship would have only really progressed once Shadow Milk and his minions settled in the Vanilla Kingdom

Sapphire would have initiated it, kinda without even realizing it. In my AU, he would try to provoke Rose's emotions because he's convinced no cookie could handle a few rumors about her or her secrets being exposed. The problem is, Rose has none of that because she's in the early stages of... "humanizing", I guess?

In any case, I see them as the most stable couple I have. Mainly because both Rose and Sapphire are perceptive enough to understand each other without unnecessary words

My favorite version of ShadowVanilla is RecluSage (or SageRecluse, whichever you prefer). At some point, I became a bigger fan of them than ShadowVanilla probably because I usually adore swap aus. Plus, back when Sage and Recluse were just costumes, you could come up with a lot of headcanons with them, making up their personalities to your liking. I also really like their relationship because they look more harmonious than normal ShadowVanilla. Bonus points because I just really like the combination of blue and gold

I left their sexualities the same because for me no matter what universe they live in, their preferences will be the same

Before Pride Month ends, I wanted to create a series of artworks featuring canon couples in my AUs. It's only fair to start with ShadowVanilla, because they're the reason I joined and still an active member of the fandom

I'm genuinely surprised that I still have a fixation on this couple since usually I bounce between fandoms and don't stay for too long. So, such a long-term hyperfixation on one specific couple, lasting an entire year, truly surprises me and makes me actually incredibly happy

As for the sexual orientations of these two, it's funny that most people in the fandom also categorize the characters as pan and gay duo. But Shadow Milk is usually also considered non-binary or genderfluid. I personally don't headcanon him as one, and see him purely as a cis man who can play any needed role (including turning into a woman)

I also have a headcanon for Shadow Milk based on my personal experience but I don't know if I have the right to share it because this headcanon might seem strange in regards to trans people, which would not be my intention, and I wouldn't want to offend anyone with my personal interpretation

It's a shame I wasn't able to finish the art in time for the first update, but I'm glad I finished it at all! At first, I tried a new color scheme but I quickly gave up and went back to my usual coloring. This time, I focused on tone of the colors, I finally figured out how to work with it digitally

I finally finished the comic I've been planning since the end of the first act of the CRK storyline.

For so long I wanted to draw a scene where Rose would support Pure Vanilla for the first time ever. This is a huge step for her, knowing her personality and communication issues. And for PV, such gesture from Rose is a total surprise, cuz she usually doesn't really react to his sadness at all.
