Mother's Song from Matty Brown on Vimeo.
There is a woman who walks through the streets randomly singing opera. Wherever she goes she is singing, sometimes under her breath, sometimes loud enough for whole blocks to hear. Some people think she is deranged, some think she is inspiring. I was compelled to sit down with her and have a short conversation about Why. I only had an hour and a half with her, but she struck a cord enough that made me buy a ticket to go see my mom, heh. I decided that I would put this online and hope to inspire people to go embrace their mothers and children. She's also a very prime example of why not to judge people by their eccentricities.
Music by the brilliant Greg Haines "183 Times" greghaines.wordpress.com/ Filmed with a broken Canon 7D and jerry-rigged audio equipment, hehe Directed and Edited by Matty Brown facebook.com/mattybrownfilm Special thank you to Janna Wachter, Bow Jones, Steven Weinberg, Philip Thomas, and Dr. Michael Clark

Ultimate Photo Montage from Rick Gerard on Vimeo.
Not much more needs to be said. This Photo Montage from the documentary film Last Best Hope is one of the best I've seen. It just goes to show you that time, Photoshop, and a a creative approach are all that are required to effectively tell a story with only still images.
More information on Last Best Hope can be found here: alpheusmedia.com/lastbesthope/home.html
Separating the foreground and background elements give the illusion that a motion picture camera is recording a moment frozen in time as it travels through the scene.
London Bus Tour from moritz oberholzer on Vimeo.
Who does not like looking out of the window while being in a bus?
Everything is shot handheld with an hd camera and a DIY 35mm adapter while sitting in one of those red vehicles of London.
The music used is by Ratatat and is called "Loud Pipes", you can get it here if you like: amazon.com/Loud-Pipes/dp/B000SFOJNG
Thanks to Angela, my delightful girlfriend, for the support!

The Foundations from Millican on Vimeo.
Insist upon yourself.
In the early 1900s, outdoor pioneer Millican Dalton quit his conventional 9-5 routine in London to pursue a life in the open in Borrowdale Valley, in the English Lake District. He lived life in his own way, chasing romance and freedom from his cave on Castle Crag.
Millican Dalton chose experience over material gain and inspired us to do the same.
We are a small team, based on a farm in the English Lake District National Park and we make bags with a difference.
We made this film to share the story that changed our journey for good.

We like to be constant learners. Weâre always looking at creative and intelligent work to see what we can apply to what we do. Recently we were revisiting Robert Doisneauâs Le Basier de lâHotel de Ville (also known as The Kiss) and felt inspired by his iconic, swoon-worthy photograph of a couple passionately kissing in the streets of Paris. We thought weâd give you a little glimpse at how we internalize inspiring work. So, weâd like to share what three creative nuggets of wisdom we took away from The Kissâ tone and spirit, as well as the success of its visual storytelling.
