What does he mean, closing down the kitchens? You canât just lock people out like that!Â
âI agree, all of these new rules are ridiculous.â
Hiya Toots!
What a crying shame! Maybe you will somedayâŠ
âYeah, hopefully.â
Youâre too kind! I totally have bags under my eyes though.Â
âIt draws attention to your lovely eyes,â she said with a small shrug. âaTrust me, you look fine.â
I have been watching the It Crowd all night. I must look horrible.
âDonât be silly; You look great.â
Hiya Toots!
-Grins-
Ever had an experience thatâŠchanged you?
âNot that I can recall, no.â
"Not sweet, just horribly honest."
"Well thank you, you don't look too bad either."
Hiya Toots!
Oh Iâm fantastic! Havenât felt this great in years!
-Laughs to himself-
"Really? What happened?"
Of New Aquaintences // Cora and Fiona
"Oh," the question caught Cora slightly off guard, and she glanced briefly back at the bookshelf. The truth wasnât really an option, so she had to come up with something else quickly. Purposefully relaxing her posture a little, she looked back at the girl, shrugging her shoulders. "Extra credit work for muggle studies," she lied easily, offering a small smile of her own. "Not very exciting, is it?" She chuckled a little at the irony of it all, but tried to appear as relaxed about the whole thing as she could manage.
Fiona laughed slightly. "No, I suppose it's not the most interesting thing in the world." She smirked. "Would you like some help, or company? Working alone is never as enjoyable as working with a partner," she said going and taking a seat next to the chair Cora had been sitting in, and leaned her elbow on the table, resting her chin on her hand.
Hiya Toots!
No? Iâd say anyone who doesnât let someone reach their full potential sounds like a moron. But what do I know! Ha!
"Um are you alright? You seem a bit... twitchy."
"Yeah, well, it was such a big blast and I didnât know she could do anything like that so I was kind of nervous. Like, would I freeze over? The other people? But it was fine in the end."
"Good. I'm happy to hear you're alright."
"Do I look like Iâm fucking joking?"
"I guess not.."
Of New Aquaintences // Cora and Fiona
Leaning her hip against a bookshelf in the library, Cora flipped through the pages of yet another book. It was growing a bit tedious, searching through book after book and finding absolutely nothing worthwhile, but she couldnât give up. No matter what she did, giving up simply wasnât an option. There were men tracking her- whether they were muggles or wizards she wasnât sure, but either way, they were dangerous. Dangerous, and infamous. With the latter in play, there had to be information on them somewhere. They had certainly made a name for themselves, so all that remained was for her to actually locate said information.
Sighing, she closed the book and placed it back on the shelf, pursing her lips. âGreat,â she mumbled, before turning around in order to head further down the isle. Instead, she found herself face to face with someone else, her eyes widening. âOh, hey,â she blinked a few times, surprised that she hadnât heard the girl approach. âSorry- I guess I didnât see you there.â
Fiona had gone to the library to pick up a few books for a school research project. Having looked for about an hour, she decided to call it a day, and head back to her dorm. About to head out the door, she heard a seemingly frustrated girl speak. Fiona turned her head and figured out who the girl was and walked towards her, curious and concerned about what happened.
"Hey," she said with a small smile. "No, no it's alright. What were you working on there, love?"
