something that changed the way i see heartbreak was when someone said “you might feel like you’re wasting away weeks of your life to this pain but just that time passing is vital to your healing process” healing isn’t productive healing isn’t linear the time will pass anyway etc etc

I love seeing people heal on here. I saw you talking about suicide in June and now you can’t stop smiling. I saw you swear off relationships in March and now you’re planning a wedding. Man, the storm don’t last forever. I’m proud of y'all.

at the end of the day it’s you. it’s you who has to make sure that you’re okay. it’s you who has to hold yourself. it’s you who has to decided to keep going. sure making some tea will make you feel okay but you really do have to make sure you’re okay. you have to keep holding on and keep trying, it’s hard out here, I know that. it’s you and you can do it. you can do whatever you want to do because you are strong and you’ve made it so far
