Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.

Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.

I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we don’t want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.

People need to be made aware that rape/sexual assault/domestic abuse can happen to anyone from any kind of culture, background etc. and that there isn’t a specified type of individual that has a higher chance of being attacked in such a manner. Men should not be seen as weak because they were unable to defend themselves from these kinds of abuse, nor should they be mocked or told that they deserve it simply because others of their gender have done those things to people. It honestly sickens me when I see a guy getting mistreated while people brush it off and say it’s because he’s weak, pathetic and other bullshit that shouldn’t even be said when someone is being treated like that. The fact that people only react when a guy has had enough of a woman or someone smaller than him abusing him and lashes out at them is idiotic as well. Wake the fuck up people.
