What’s your favorite way of creating? Since I discovered watercolour I’ve been painting a lot, working on greeting cards and trying loose florals. It’s been fun but I reminded myself today that my first love was drawing. So I’m going to do more of that! More practice, this time in greens. I feel I did a lot better this time. Any other artists keep trying to do a certain style or subject because they know it sells but are forced to admit you just have no idea what you’re doing? I tried “loose florals” again. I realized WHY I can’t do them - at no stage of the process do I recognize what’s in front of me. Flower, what flower? Do I need to learn to enjoy the uncertainty? It really has no appeal. Hence today’s inktober. I drew a flower. With a pen 😅😜 It felt great.
