Reaching out with the force, Anakin made sure the man his pilot shot was still alive. A quick breath of relief when he felt he was, with a quick flick of his hand he sent the last man back before he slid both doors shut with another quick motion of his fingers.

Switching the blade off on his lightsaber, Anakin raised a hand and closed his fingers into a fist as he crushed the boarding tube attached to their ship with the Force. Waving his hand away as he let the metal float away,

❝ are you okay? ❞

Dick watched on, his expression a mix of horror and awe, as the tube imploded on itself and floated away. He could see Anakin move his hand from the corner of his eye, so he knew it was his doing. None of that had any effect on how Dick felt about it -- it was still an enormous chunk of metal for one boy to crush all by himself. He’d never seen anything like it, and he wasn’t sure whether to be scared or impressed.

"Sure. I’m swell.”

His eyes flickered to his pilot, he seemed to be able to handle himself. Good. Turning his attention back to the last swordsman, he bolted towards Anakin after seeing his friend tossed into a bulkhead. Whirling around as their blades met, parrying left and right as the pirate launched into a flurry of attacks. Ducking his head as the blade swung high and jumping to avoid the quick low follow through.

Taking himself away from the fight as he played nothing but defense, waiting for the moment his opponent slipped up. And then he had it, the pirate stepped too far and threw his weight off. Blocking the attack with a harder hit, Anakin went on the offensive and threw threw quick swings before bringing his blade down so it took the man’s hand off at the wrist. Calling on the force and pushing his hand out to send the man flying back to his own ship.

Dick noticed a man twice his size coming towards him, and Dick knew he wasn’t someone to waste his energy fighting hand-to-hand with. From the corner of his eye, he saw the Jedi chop a man’s hand off; Dick was obviously the easier target of the two. The man he’d just taken down started to get up again, and Dick made up his mind. He pulled two blasters out of their holsters and shot each of them square in the chest - non-lethal shots that only served to knock them out long enough for a quick getaway.
