The reason why I am so good at what I do and in such good shape is because I push myself to insanely hard. When I’m in the gym I play on my phone a lot. People see me doing cardio on the treadmill and I’m just walking. What most people don’t see is that when I’m hitting a set I’m going absolutely APE🦍🔥💪🏻I don’t ever half do a set! I live by the saying ANYTHING WORTH DOING IS WORTH OVER DOING. That’s what navy seals say and that why they are the best military force on test planet. I push myself to failure every set! You’ll rarely catch me doing 3 sets of 10 or whatever. My sets usually like like 18 or 22 or 7 or some random number that is by no means an even set. I ball out every rep! And you should to. Try this next time you workout...don’t count your reps. Go until failure. Do reps until you absolutely can’t anymore. Doing gymnastics, flips, handstands, and being upside down a lot of my life people tell me I should have good balance...but that is not even close to true😂 I can do flips and hold a handstand for ridiculously long amounts of time but once my feet are on the ground I’m an absolute clown🤪 Tripping myself, dropping stuff, spilling things...yknow..I’m THAT guy😂But I have fun doing me and that’ll never change! . . . . . . . . #clumbsy #backflip #gymnastics #lifestyle #getflipt (at Venice, California)
I genuinely love coaching/teaching/working with kids! They’re so much fun and what I love about kids from age 5-9 is their enthusiasm for learning something new and cool😄Their reactions to something so simple but revolutionary in the mind of a child is an amazing thing to watch happen🙌🏻I still coach children to this day whether they be a gymnast, dancer, cheerleader, etc because I appreciate their genuine excitement. The brain of a child is an incredible thing! - I’ve been rewatching the show survivor because I’m a HUGE fan (one day I hope to go on the show!) and they did a season of Gen-X (the old timer group) vs the Millennials (today’s “bratty lack of a work ethic group). And let me tell you...I am 24 and technically classified as a millennial. You know what’s annoying about that? EVERYTHING! Because realistically the older generation that bashes our young generation CREATED THE MILLENNIALS! So hmm how about those who criticize take a look in the mirror. - Just because we play video games and try to find smarter/easier/faster ways to do things doesn’t mean we’re lazy. It means we’re choosing to work smarter, not harder. So instead of bashing on the young generation, maybe make an effort to help pick it up and better it! It all starts with simple acts. Help where you can. Go out of your way to do the little things. Example...lifting a random kid up to the rings at the beach😂 - I’m not sharing/showing you this for praise. I’m just tired of people whining about a problem and not doing anything about it🤷🏼♂️It starts with you. Kids are the future. Help one out. There’s a famous saying that goes like this... “You can’t outrun a bad diet.” - Now I just do not believe that to be true. I’m going to be completely honest with you right now...I EAT LIKE ABSOLUTE TRASH! The worst garbage every single day. With my absurdly high candy/sugar intake I would’ve had diabetes 10 years ago if I wasn’t so active. I’m not telling you this because I want you to forget diet and abandon healthy eating...I spend a stupid amount of time in the gym. Part of my job is being in the gym and working out. I’m in the gym 3-6 hours a day working out. And then to top that off I play sports all the time. At least every other day throughout the week I play spikeball, ultimate frisbee, flag football, volleyball, tennis, whatever. But bottom line, the average person does NOT have that much time on their hands to get in that much physical activity. - ⚠️MY POINT IS, I actually ate clean for 3 days before this picture was taken and it made SUCH A BIT DIFFERENCE! The separation between my abs and external obliques came out drastically. I had visible shoulder veins at a resting heart rate. My quad muscles were very clearly defined and individualized. And crazy enough even my forearms lost some extra fluff. I realized this when I was playing with my forearm flexor muscles and I was weirdly entertained with them for a solid 7 minutes😂 - What I’m trying to say is, unless you get 5-7 hours a day of physical activity, then you need to be eating properly if you want to move towards your fitness goals efficiently.
