I was in third grade and playing Naruto with my friends in the courtyard. I was the only girl there, and everyone wanted me to play as Sakura (I've always adored Sakura), but I deliberately always chose Tobi to terrorize everyone(And force a boy a year younger to play as Sakura). So I was roleplaying as Tobi for some time, and then it turned out that he was actually a crazy evil bitch and my little brain decided that now he would stay in my head forever

Well, Tobi also was very easy to draw, so I started learning to draw by drawing a bunch of Tobi

id like to congratulate obito and kakashi for being insane about each other in a way that is usually only reserved for the eternally inextricably intertwined gods. but no these guys managed it all by themselves without leaning on magic reincarnation nepotism. this is why their toxic murder + delusion situationship truly exemplifies the show's theme of hard work overcoming natural talent

Au where Obito gets amnesia, panics when he sees zetsu looming over him, burns the fuck out of everything in sight like a true Uchiha, and hauls ass to other side of the world.

Along the way, he rediscovers some sick powers that he apparently has by getting into S rank fights, mopes when he realizes he isn’t in any bingo books, and turns in hella bounties to fix that asap. He even gets a cool orange mask, although that one is more motivated by him being sick of people staring at the scars.

All in all, he’s doing pretty great for an amnesiac shinobi.

…Until he hunts down two targets with a big bounty and sees one of them already fighting a guy with an eye that’s just like his. The guy isn’t exactly winning.

If he intervenes, he gets to ask him questions. If he doesn’t, the guy and his kids will probably die because of the fake hunter nin hidden in the trees.

The two corpses aren’t even cold before the guy passes out.

Huh. Alright then.

Guess he just has to wait for those answers. And carry the guy since as amusing as watching the kids struggle under his height and weight would be, he’d rather not have them drop him. Who knows, maybe they’d both have amnesia then

So he lays the guy out at the bridge builders house, rambles about the protocol for this situation to the kids, and finds himself becoming a weird step in sensei while he waits for their real sensei to wake up

He does NOT expect the guy to almost burst into tears as soon as they make eye contact. Maybe he should have just left..?
