So clearly I haven't been posting here for a while.

And it's also fairly obvious that it's because of a fairly innocent comment I made about a show that, actually I do enjoy on it's own merits.

But as there are a large group of people who have jumped down my throat about it, I'm retiring this blog.

So thanks. Again.

Dear Elementary fandom,

Thanks for helping to taint a show I was starting to enjoy just by being super-critical about one comment I made (pre-series two), and in no real way critical, and definitely not sexist or racist and therefore deserving of the amount of hate and scorn.

People who made similar comments about American- based shows that showed a fake London (lets use LOST as an example here), never got the same reaction I did from such an innocuous comment.

So thanks for showing your true colours guys.

Some of you are so nice.

I’ve noticed that several of my followers are Miyazaki fans, so I thought I share this little tidbit of information with you about Spirited Away.

I always wondered why the symbol “ゆ” (said “yu”) was on the door to the bath house. I asked my Japanese teacher, and he wasn’t too...

I'm never usually rude to an ENTIRE fandom- especially one based on a show that, for the most part I am actually enjoying. But I make one comment that the flashback of London in season one doesn't exactly look right and I find that my intelligence is insulted, my general character seems to be brought into question and the comment is taken to mean that I must hate the show.

Jesus Christ- I do this with EVERYTHING I watch. Stuff I enjoy. I have yet to meet anyone who is a fan NOT poke a few holes in what they're seeing.

So thanks. But f-you.

What I meant was the flashback scenes from season one- I've come to the show rather late and I wasn't entirely convinced that Irene's street was a British street.

And for those insulting my intelligence- thanks. Because low self-esteem issues and verbal back-lash are EXACTLY what I needed on Sunday morning.

Michael Giles has recently become another victim of Florida’s racist and sexist Stand Your Ground law. According to his mother:

Michael’s attacker admitted he was angry that someone had interrupted his dance, and wanted to hurt the next person he saw. That next person standing to the side, not partaking in the violence, was Michael.

His attacker was not fighting alone, state witnesses testified that there were between 30-40 people involved in the brawl. The state’s own witnesses also testified that the aggressor instigated several other fights that night, and was acting erratically and violently…state witnesses testified that Michael, was calmly standing to the side, and did nothing to provoke the attack.

obviously, this is a pattern of racism (proof 1; proof 2)

The Real Monsters are reborn!

Upon getting so much attention for my previous designs, I wanted to redesign the monsters and develop the concept a little more. You’ll notice most of the monsters have subtle alterations and the descriptions have been changed to better reflect my original concepts.

Over the coming weeks I will release more (never seen before) monsters and will also release concept sketches and developmental work for each monster shown here- So stay tuned! (They may also be little animations…)

Disclaimer: The artwork is not at all intended to make light of these conditions but instead is intended to give these intangible mental illnesses some substance and make them appear more beatable as physical entities.
