I tend to handle my urges in a very “matter of fact” way. Messily painted fingers tapping away at my cutsie keyboard. My searches are always simple. I look up doses. I look up time comparisons. I look up the next release of a show I'm waiting on. It's all straightforward. Little pieces of knowledge I keep tucked away within the crevices of my brain should the ultimate urge arrive. I'm not seen as “at risk”. I never have been. Sure middle school was dark. Sure I'd spend all day curled on the floor of the counselor’s, lack of sleep crudely drawing purple beneath my eyes as I'd stare at the ceiling, begging for an escape from myself.. but that was never to worry. I'm fine. I’m perfect, actually. College has been better. I’ve grown and formed into a new and better person. I’ve shed my skin and kicked aside my past. My use of long sleeves has picked up purely due to weather. I've cultivated connections I truly love. I'm doing fine.
So, my “matter of fact” searches are just that, searches. My oversleep and lack of response is a fault of the weather. I’m fine.
