Tall imposing half shifted wolf who won't stay in the proper form of just wolf or just human because its not safe and its easier to scare people away and if that doesnt work, he can fight so much easier

Selkie!Grace who's scared that his coat will be taken away again. That was how they got him onto the Hail Mary, without his coat he's just a weak human, not a harbor seal with multiple sharp teeth that has dangerous bacteria to help keep him safe

Grace keeps his coat on at all times, only taking it off after Rocky moves into the Hail Mary in his ball (which means Rocky's hamster ball is covered by it which Rocky thinks is adorable and knows its a sign of trust)

Simon stays in his own corner, hackles raised and teeth bared but doesn't make an attempt to leave or hurt Grace (Rocky is different tho, he looks like a ball and brings out Simon's playful hunting instinct, much to Rocky's dismay)

Once they're more calm around each other, Grace notices Simon having a panick attack one night, he tries to help him, only for Simon to snarl and slap his hand away

The Butcher doesnt need help.

Besides, Simon deserves to be alone. He deserves to suffer.

So Grace covers Simon's head with his coat and Simon instantly calms down. Its dark, it smells like Grace, it reminds him of his mom who would cover a panicked younger Simon with a blanket to stop his panick attacks.

You actually cannot skip to being good at a creative endeavour that you haven't put much practice into. You cannot trick your way out of the 'knows that your work is not what you want it to be but don't know how to improve it' stage by planning or reading or talking about it really really hard. At some point you just have to craft through it until your brain finds it's own unique way back to the 'everything I make slaps' stage and be prepared to start the cycle all over again. You just have to make that project you're excited about slightly less good than you want it to be. (Says this standing in a pool of blood and covered in blood and also coughing up a little blood)

The labor is already being done under capitalism. The laborers are already being underpaid under capitalism.

When you propose removing the greedy profiteers and paying the workers a reasonable wage, people call that "slavery" while they have no problem with the current system.

They're not even trying to make sense.
