So, I know that I’ve been gone a long while. Probably a lot longer than I care to admit. Within the past year, I started attending a graduate program and interning at a local Autism Clinic.  Thus far, both have kept me very busy. I have not forgotten my time here or the people that I have met along the way. Finals are approaching me, and while I would love to pick up where I left off immediately, I am not sure that I would be able to do so in my current situation. With that being said, I am looking to return.

The days had become long for the half breed. Though his days were never boring, often filled fighting off demons and venturing into distant lands, Inuyasha still felt the time passing by him ever slowly. His mind wandered with a sense of existential nihilism. The hanyou appeared young still, but he was beyond the years of many of the familiar humans in his life. The years had aged him.  Inuyasha closed his eyes and let the warmth of the sun bask upon him. His ears twitched slightly at the earthly sounds around him. The day was peaceful at least. It was something that he should be grateful for, despite his feelings of stagnation.

The sun beating down upon his face was blocked by a shadow that crossed over his face. The creator of the shadow was a familiar ginger standing over him, her face hanging over him. She was smiling down at the hanyou, a spear with golden blades was being used to hold her wait as she hung over the male.

“Heh. Hey, Inu.” She said with a chuckle.

“Long time no see. How’s the puppy doing?”

His nose twitched with the familiar smell of the girl. How she had managed to sneak up on him was astounding and impressive. “Its ‘Inuyasha’, you got that? ‘Inoo-YA-SHAH’. “ He said, without opening his eyes at first. A moment passed and he could still feel those familiar eyes staring down at him as she leaned.

He looked now at the girl who was smiling down at him. Undoubtedly unfazed by his caustic tone.

Despite his demeanor, he was happy to see her. It had been quite some time since she had come to visit him.

Inuyasha: *Sees post about Kagome warning Inuyasha he'll get fat if he lays down after eating.* "Oh look, I'm laying down after eating. Welp."

Sessh: "Hey, little brother, if you get too fat can I have the Tessaiga? You won't need it anymore, right? Please?"

Inuyasha: "No."

Sessh: *scoots really close.*

Sessh: "Pls."

At first, the hanyou didn’t know what top do. Inuyasha wasn’t use to this, nor allowing someone to be this close to him. He released her wrist and allowed her to pressed her head into his shoulder.  A moment passed before Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her. Long silver hair draped around her as he towered over her in an endless hug. “hey… what are you apologizing to me for?”

When she felt his arms around her, she slowly slipped her around his torso, keeping her face hidden from his view.

It was… comforting to say the least. Something she wasn’t expecting to happen.

“I-… I don’t really know. I guess… I’m just feeling down. And you’re being my comfort. You… You shouldn’t be though. You’ve done nothing wrong.”

she was right. He was being her comfort. It was something that he hadn’t ever thought he would be... But here they were. Her damn near tears and him- Well, it didn’t matter.  He pulled her in just a bit closer to him. “ but I am here, Ain’t I? I don’t know what has got you down... but I’m here. Got it?” his voice remained soft as he spoke to her.
