Halloween Festival

The barking of Akamaru instantly placed a smile on the young Hyuugaâs face. Before she stood to greet the boy she rubbed her hand across the dogs soft head, giggling as he pushed against her palm. She gave a bit more attention, rubbing his back and behind his ears before she stood.Â
âHello there sweet AkamaruâŠâ
She then looked to Kiba and gave him a small smile in return to his grin, the one he always managed to wear on his features. She gave him a small bow as a welcome, crossing her arms before her in a neat manner.Â
âPlease donât apologize, accidents happen Kiba. How are-â
The girl was cut off when her phone vibrated once again. A shiver of panic ran up the girls spin and she could feel herself pale as she clutched the small piece of metal to her chest. She had completely forgotten about the first text she was sent, she had waited too long. She glanced up to Kiba, to afraid to look to her phone. How badly she wanted to stay, especially with Kiba who always brought sparks to her dull life.
âI would love to stay and chat with you, but Iâm afraid I might be in trouble⊠You know how duty callsâ
Kiba couldn't help the smile on his face as he watched Hinata interact with Akamaru. She was one of his favorite people to talk to, besides Shino, and Akamaru of course. Hinata was very soft spoken, but Kiba always found her as a kind soul, aged beyond her years. Sometimes, however, Kiba also thought her family put too much pressure on her. It came with being from such an influential family. Kiba thanked the stars every day that he wasn't born into her family and his prayers went out to the girl. Seeing the look on her face when he phone buzzed again made his heart wrench. He had noticed that her typical shadows weren't around. Perhaps her younger sister had made her cousin follow her somewhere else. Still, she should be allowed to enjoy herself, it was a festival after all. Digging his canine tooth into his bottom lip, Kiba looked down at Akamaru who seemed to be thinking the same thing. "Come on, Hinata," Kiba said, redirecting the typical smirk to his face. "Akamaru and I will accompany you. That way your father won't get all pissy over no one being with you in this crowd. It's the least I can do, since I ran into you and made you late. Plus that way we can talk." It also helped that he liked spending time with the Hyuuga heiress.
