GERMAN INDIE

So I'm from germany.

The music situation is ... Uhg... mainstream and HORRIBLE. (should I post "the worst german songs"?)

But actually there are some good bands, so I guess here we are:

1. ANNENMAYKANTEREIT

(combination of their last names)

They actually make really good music in German. The voice from the singer Henning May is incredible. He looks like 17, but sounds like 50 (+ a lot of whiskey and cigarettes). All the members come from cologne (so as I do) and even if all their concerts are sold out and expensive, they still go on the streets and make music. A lot of "german-hipster-indie-yolo-students" are listening to them but also lots of turks and russians.

I like them a lot And I really like how they are still so down to earth despite the hype. ;) GIVE IT A TRY

THE RECIPE TO BE AS COOL AS ALEX

½ part triple sec liqueur

½ part lime juice

1 lime wedge

Salt

Cubed ice

How to mix

1. Chill your glass (the easiest way is to fill it with ice)

2. Put lots of ice and all of the ingredients into a shaker, then shake hard for about 30 seconds to chill the liquid really well

3. Run a lime wedge around the outside of the rim of your glass before rolling the rim in salt

4. Double strain the mix into the glass
