Hey kids, intro post here:
I am a day of the week. The gayest day of the week. It implies that in the poem, and I am confirming it.
Don’t question me.
I am also a day of rest and worship, and I would appreciate it if everyone would participate accordingly.
Just so we’re clear, I don’t mean you have to worship religiously—reverence is not just for gods. For example, I typically choose to worship unapologetically horny queer fanfiction.
Also, if you happen to be born on a Sunday you are gay. It says so in the poem, no exceptions. Do not try to argue with poetry. I had a creative writing professor try to argue with my poetry once.
She won, but that’s besides the point.
Anyway, that’s me! I use they/them pronouns and my favorite song is Sunday Morning Coming Down (specifically the Johnny Cash version) and I take complete responsibility for being the reason Jesus Christ is gay.
See you Sunday.
