Kotoha tilted her head to the side. “My name? Hmm… Maybe you met some of my teammates? Chiaki or Genta, maybe? Mako might have mentioned me, I guess, or Ryuunosuke.”
‘Teammates? Don´t tell me …’ He stared at the girl for a moment as she listed the names till she finally mentioned the one name he knew. “Ryuu-kun, no Ryuunosuke that´s the one.” He nodded. “Then you´re a Shinkenger.”
Kotoha's face lit up with a huge smile. "Ah! You met Ryuu-san? How is he? I haven't talked to him lately!" She nodded. "Yes. I'm ShinkenYellow. It was supposed to be my sister, but since her health is frail, I took her place."
Kotoha paused to think about it. “I guess you’re right. I never thought about it like that.” She smiled sheepishly and hit her head lightly with her fist. “I guess I really am stupid.” She let out a little laugh and held out her hand. “Hanaori Kotoha. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Nakadai-san.”
He slightly narrowed his eyes when the other called herself stupid, but said nothing as he went to shake her hand. “Hm … Kotoha, I think I´ve heard your name before somewhere.” He was pretty sure that someone had mentioned her name before, but he couldn´t quite put his finger on it when that had been.
Kotoha tilted her head to the side. "My name? Hmm... Maybe you met some of my teammates? Chiaki or Genta, maybe? Mako might have mentioned me, I guess, or Ryuunosuke."
Kotoha jumped and let out a squeak, spinning around to face the man, her fingers fumbling with the flute. It slipped from her hand and she quickly leaned over to pick it up before straightening with it clutched in her hand. “I’m sorry! I didn’t see you.” She smiled at his compliment. “Thank you. I’m not good at much else, but I’m glad you liked it.”
He tried his best to hide his amuse smile when the girl finally noticed him and her following behaviour. “Well, you seem to be good at it. I think that´s reason enough to be proud of yourself.” He pushed away from the tree and went slowly closer. “I have a friend who plays harmonica. I´m a bit jealous, you know. You both have talent for those kind of things.” He stopped in front of Kotoha and held out his hand. “I´m Nakadai Mikoto.”
Kotoha paused to think about it. "I guess you're right. I never thought about it like that." She smiled sheepishly and hit her head lightly with her fist. "I guess I really am stupid." She let out a little laugh and held out her hand. "Hanaori Kotoha. It's a pleasure to meet you, Nakadai-san."

Kotoha was standing in a clearing, playing her flute. She hadn’t seen much of her teammates recently, and she had been starting to worry about them. Still, there wasn’t much she do about that, she told herself. So she had grabbed her flute and headed out to calm herself.
She was so focused on her flute that she didn’t notice the person watching her at all.
Mikoto had watched the girl for a while, listening to her playing the flute. She seemed so absorbed in her play that she hadn´t noticed him at all. “That´s a nice tune.” He called, jumping from the tree he had been sitting in only to lean against it, continuing to watch the younger.

Lost Samurai
Tsubasa was at the entrance to the Kantai forest and sees a girl in yellow about to enter. He picks up his staff and points it at the girl “Who are you and why are you in this forest?”
Kotoha jumped and let out a squeak, one hand gripping the straps of her bag and her other hand going for her Shodaphone. Once she saw it was a human, she stopped, and bowed. “I’m so sorry! I’m a little lost! I got off the train at the wrong stop, I guess, and I accidentally wandered here!” She straightened cautiously. “Am I not allowed to be here?”
Tsubasa lowers his staff and looks at the girl. “This area is off limits to anyone who isn’t in the Makai order or who know this forest. If you happened to wander any further then you would be in major danger and trouble.”
Kotoha's eyes widened. "Really? Thank you for stopping me! I'm so sorry for causing you any trouble!"

“Ah, sorry!” Kotoha turned to Dayu. “Um, so, he’s not my Tono-sama, but he does make a good point.” She held up Shinkenmaru.
Dayu pulled out her sword as well, and the two clashed.
Jayden gave his all in this sword fight. It was really similar to that of fighting Deker. They abilities matched up to each other closely. He managed to get a few good blows on Juzo and likewise for Jayden.
“You thrive on this, ShinkenRed. You’re no different than I am.” Proclaimed Juzo.
Jayden clashes his Spin Sword against Urumasa. “We’re different. I fight as a duty not for personal gain, unlike you.”
Kotoha and Dayu continued to clash, but it was clear that both of them were more interested in the fight between Jayden and Juzo.
Jayden felt that something wasn’t right. Even though Juzo was fighting with his all, Jayden felt that he’s fighting as though he was stalling for time.
“ShinkenYellow! Something doesn’t feel right. They’re stalling for time.” Jayden shouts out but was careful of Juzo’s moves.
"Eh?" She looked over at Dayu, who had looked away from the other fight to look back at her. Quickly, she shoved Dayu back and pulled out the Sodophone, writing the kanji for "wall" four times, and then "boulder." The four walls formed around Dayu, and the boulder sealed the top. Knowing it would only slow her, Kotoha leaped up to a higher vantage point to try to see what was coming. She also sent the Kuroku out to look around.

shibafire started following you
Kotoha was walking around the downtown area, reminiscing about old memories, when out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a commotion, running over, she saw it was caused by some Gedoushu, and frowned. Did they never learn? She pulled out her Sodophone.
“Shinken Yellow! Going Forth!”
There was a commotion just outside the cafe Jayden was relaxing at. He quickly takes out his Samuraizer. He gets all the other civillians to safety before morphing.
“Go Go Samurai!”
[Ignore the other rangers. I can’t find a proper gif.]
He soon sees a yellow ranger. “ShinkenYellow?”
Kotoha cut down a Gedoushu, and then spun around. “E-eh? Tono-sama?” She ran up to him and poked him lightly. “Tono-sama?”
Jayden shakes his head and chuckles. “I’m Jayden. Kaoru’s distant cousin. I’m the Red Samurai Ranger from America. It’s nice to meet you, ShinkenYellow.”
“Eh?” Kotoha tipped her head to the side. “Ah, I see… I guess… Sorry, I’m not very smart. All I’m with is my flute and my sword.”
“It’s fine. Though could we talk later? I think there’s a Gedoushu attacking the town.” He slings his sword on his shoulder before running towards the Nighlok.
“Ah! Yes! Sorry!” Kotoha wheeled around. She spotted a small girl, hiding behind a bush with wide eyes, and the Gedoushu that were approaching it. She quickly spun her disk, and her Shinkenmaru transformed. “Land Slicer!” She quickly threw it and ran to the side of the small girl. “Are you okay?” When the little girl nodded, she quickly handed her off to the kuroku that appeared, and returned to the fight, running to join Jayden in fighting the Ayakashi.
Jayden strikes the Moogers in sets of two. He nods at ShinkenYellow as she joins him in the fight. He places his fire disk on his Spin Sword and spins it.
“Blazing Strike!”
He takes down a whole group of Moogers in one strike. He slashes down a few Moogers that were about to attack ShinkenYellow from the back.
She bowed quickly to him. “Ah, thank you, Tono-sama! I mean, ah!” She cut down some Nanashi that were coming, and pulled out her Sodophone, sending the kanji for “large boulder” at them, crushing a bunch of them under an enormous bolder.
“Just call me Jayden.” He slashes down more Moogers before changing his Spin Sword to a Fire Smasher.
“Fire Smasher!” He strikes a whole circle of Moogers in one blow. Soon, all the Moogers were destroyed. He walks forward towards the Nighlok and sees that it was Deker and Dayu. “Deker and Dayu? I thought I destroyed you!”
“I am Juzo. Not some Deker. I will still duel you, ShinkenRed.”
“Usukawa Dayu? Juzo? I thought you were dead! Tono-sama killed you, Juzo!” She looked back and forth between him and Jayden. “Ah! That isn’t Tono-sama, Juzo…” She looked back at Dayu. “And you… you died and became part of Dokoku… How are you here?”
“Many of us have returned, ShinkenYellow. Do not be so surprised. But then again, you never were a very smart girl.”
Kotoha nodded. “That’s true. Sorry, Dayu.”
“ShinkenYellow, don’t apologise to these Ayakashi. They don’t deserve it. Since there’s only two of us, I’ll take on Juzo. I hope you can deal with Dayu.” Jayden looks to Juzo and takes up a better stance.
“I still don’t get it. Why are you so obsessed with us Red Rangers? I’ll just fight you cause you’re harming all these humans not because you want a duel. I destroyed you once, I’ll destroy you again.”
Juzo simply smirks and charges towards Jayden.
"Ah, sorry!" Kotoha turned to Dayu. "Um, so, he's not my Tono-sama, but he does make a good point." She held up Shinkenmaru.
Dayu pulled out her sword as well, and the two clashed.

Lovely music (@fluteandsword)
Tomoko follows the delicate strains of flute music to the source. When the other girl finishes playing, Tomoko applauds politely. “That was amazing. You have a real talent.”
Kotoha jumped as she heard someone clapping, and spun around. “Ah! I didn’t see you there. You should hear Nee-san. She’s amazing.”
“You shouldn’t compare yourself to your older sister. That just diminishes your own expectations.” Tomoko extends a hand. “Nozama Tomoko, at your service.”
“Hanaori Kotoha. Nice to meet you!” She shook the offered hand. “Oh, I don’t really have any expectations. I’m not that bright. The only things I’m good at are the flute and the sword.”
“How long have you been saying that about yourself? I’m sure you can do other things. You shouldn’t bring yourself down like that.” Tomoko shakes her head. “Believe me, it’s a bad path to tread.”
"Oh, it's fine! It helped me fight a monster that was taking everyone else out! I know my own limit!" She smiled. "My family runs a bamboo shop in Kyoto. I don't need to be smart, as long as I can serve Tono-sama."
