Sunset being a mildly famous hardcore gaming streamer (one of those people who does speed running or like Dark Souls level 1 challenge runs or super hardcore nuzlockes or something) makes so much sense to me and is funny to boot

Even better is that + her girlfriend being a cryptid on her stream who will randomly pop into frame now and again and her viewers try for months or maybe even years to get a good read on her until like. Sunset announces she proposed and drags her gf (now fiancée) onto the stream and everyone in her chat is like

“YOUVE BEEN DATING A FAMOUS OLYMPIC ATHLETE THIS WHOLE TIME THE FUCK???”

And Rainbow is just like “haha hi chat”

One of my favorite MLP-fandom stories I have is that one time I was a panelist at a romance panel in EFNW, and one of the other panelists said that "rarity/celestia" worked as a ship because Celestia is a princess and Rarity is a 'superficial social-climber' and it made me so indignant on Rarity's behalf that I participated in a writing contest he was judging SOLELY so he'd be forced to read a story telling him his opinion was dumb

anyway i just uploaded the story on ao3! its still great and i am STILL right

actually the second best part of that story is as this person was explaining how rarity was a superficial social climber, you could see half the room watching me wide-eyed as I tried to restrain myself from fighting a man in real time
