DSB actually didn't make it into the States for this tour. I wanna say they had at least a month booked, but go turned away by customs. What a shame..
My friend Hans, guitarist of Sacred Shock, made this flyer. Weird having 2 heavy-stoner rock bands play with Japanese hardcore, eh?
Cool show in Liberec, Czech Republic with one of the most raging bands on the planet! I vaguely remember us all having to sleep on the floor we played/partied on - one of the many obligatory punk-tour experiences.
Hammer was one of the greatest and most underrated hardcore bands of the 00s. Their records are solid and they were insanely energetic live.
I was 8 years old, so I obviously wasn't at this show. I think this came in a package with some records.
One of my greatest achievements in life: seeing Paintbox! This was technically the prelude to Chaos In Tejas, back before it was so massive and overwhelming. Bury The Living was one of the best hardcore bands of the era and they came to Austin often.
2010, Lyon France. Great show. Coche Bomba did RIP covers. Slept in some Infoshop with a Big Boys quote spray-painted on the window across the street. I shared this with a new acquaintance from my recent stay in Lyon and he admitted to being the vandal.
Eddie and Dru put this low-key fest on in 2009. The Brat show was kind of poorly attended, but they were fucking incredible! I don't think the LA bands made it.
Ridiculous flyer. Pedestrians were one of the hottest bands at the time. Saw them / played with them a bunch of times. Members are still doing good bands like The Stops, Manipulation, And Daylight Robbery. Singer Jordan is still doing Residue Records, and bassist Cissie has a button-making business called Blah-Blah Buttons.

Austin house show - probably 2006 or '07. Not into the lightening-bolt S's they flyer maker used. Conversions went to Mexico on this trip.
From my first tour in 2003. This show was in Eugene, OR, and I got the contact from Book your Own Fucking Life. Happy Bastards did the same Rudimentary Peni cover as us.

This may have been the kickoff show for the Criaturas / Deskonocidos 2011 west coast tour. I only played in Criaturas for 5 or 6 months before moving to SF. Aryel from Mindless moved to Oakland around the same time, and we ended up playing in The New Flesh together.
Hand-colored flyers! Pbrgh's Caustic Christ were always a massive live band.
I don't remember this show well. Perhaps I was smoking cigarettes and drinking beers outside?
We did 3 shows with Destino Final at the beginning of our tour before we went separate routes. I think this was the one where their window(s) got smashed out of their giant shiny rental van. Ian from Absurdo recently reminded me that he was driving them on this tour. The show was at an old squatted SS building that is now being renovated.
Making new buddies and chatting with locals on tour is one of the most enriching aspects of the experience, but not when you're missing amazing bands! I foolishly missed Kalte Lust while probably gorging myself on baguettes and cheese and wine. A couple years later they released a near perfect LP. I turned up this flyer while digging around one day and have been kicking myself ever since.
