blue was a fan of femme fatale. when growing up, he had little knowledge of kpop. there was no source of technology at home; the one television reserved for channels only father approved of. he never rode in a car when an adolescent; therefore, music was not a part of his upbringing. however, when an independent on the street, he acquired a taste for hip hop and rap; the beat of heavy music keen for his weakened bones. it was only when he became friends with idols when the young boy was introduced to the popular culture of korea. he would have never imagined becoming an idol himself, yet here he was as a vocalist for unity, and he was slowly becoming a fan of other groups. femme fatale was one that he did enjoy.
“since when do i ever rest?” a teasing smirk curved dimples, pearly whites exposed. the curfew, he thought, was a joke, but he knew he would have to abide to the regulation, for dimensions did put more pressure on unity. they were the group to be of better image as opposed of mars and alien. the boys had to be on their best behaviors before a scandal was released. dimensions would perhaps disband them if anything was released. walking outside with xiu, he endured the slight breeze of the night. “why not both at the same time? we can find a place to eat near the water. i’m sure there is a stand open nearby.” a nudge at her petite shoulders, a light chuckle from his lips. “does that sound good to you?”
xiu held a lot of respect for blue and the rest of his group. not only did they put out really good songs and had great choreography, they were all very hard workers, that much she could tell. she knew that a lot of the members had been with their label for years, which explained why they were so good at what they did. she loved their sound. she’d always had a soft spot for hip hop and rap, her growing up in a place that was filled with it. on the subways and on the streets, she could hear rap music being played just about anywhere, and she had grown to love it. unity was one of the few groups in south korea that had a pure hip hop sound, and she loved it. although she was sure she would love anything they released.
“i don’t know, you tell me.” she found herself chuckling when he smirked at her, reaching up to pull her hair into a ponytail so she could fit it underneath the cap she had tucked away in her pocket. her face mask was gripped tightly in her hand, poised to put it on once she got herself situated. “good thinking.” she hadn’t thought of that, and it made a lot more sense than sitting in a restaurant then going to the water. “did you see any open stands on your way to the hotel?” she asked, finally being able to place her face mask back on, situating it properly so that it wouldn’t irritate her skin. “what are you hungry for?”
