brightest blessings !! my name is naomi or nao (she/her) and welcome to my main blog. this blog is basically my personal journal and record of my practice, religion, and spirituality. i'm an ex-catholic and am currently in the process of deconstructing my prior beliefs due to some lingering catholic guilt. i'm very open to talking about my experiences regarding almost anything, so feel free to drop an ask !!

i am a hellenic polytheist and demonolator who is still relatively new and learning !! i am a devotee of Lady Persephone, Hypnos, and Lord Leviathan. however, i do worship other deities such as Lady Athena, Lady Aphrodite, and Pan.

i've been a witchcraft practitioner on-and-off since 2021, but i've recently been called to fully dedicate myself to the craft, which is why i made this blog as a way to keep myself in check. i love to meditate and use tarot in my practice and i'm thinking of trying out scrying once i get the hang of tarot. i also am working on my clairsenses with my strongest one being clairsentience.

why teach us to “respect other religions” when you draw the line on polytheistic religions?

i was in a theology class and my groupmates were also non-catholic, but we all lied and said we were. our classmates are future priests and we weren’t ready for a religious debate 🫥

where i've been even if you don't care lol

the time i left was, in my opinion, a chaotic time in paganblr. it was just the usual negativity but it just got to me. i wasn't directly involved but i was definitely tired of seeing it and it worsened my mental health.

i also felt distant to my faith. i stopped praying, communicating, and practicing witchcraft. whenever i felt like coming back here or praying again, i'd always be consumed by guilt that i treated my religion as a hobby (i wasn't but i couldn't help but overthink).

i've decided to come back now because things in my life have improved. i'm even getting a room and will soon have a proper altar setup! thank you to all who have checked in on me and were concerned, i appreciate it so much.

i hate being a closeted pagan with no private space of my own like i genuinely want to cry.

1. my cousin took and is using my prayer candle for persephone saying it’s “ours”

2. my aunt put those mcdonalds bts figurines on my leviathan altar

i can’t even argue because they’ll question why i care about such irrelevant things like a candle or shelf space. not sure if i’m overreacting but i feel so disrespected and they unknowingly disrespected my faith.

vent update. my cousin took my candle again !! i'm getting pissed since she started acting petty when i told her to buy me a new one. at your big age you need to start acting normal when things don't go your way
