I don't think that's how it's going to be, but it would be funny if, just like we're theorizing about Gaster, Gaster was theorizing about us.

Who is this player? Is that Kris? Is it a soul? Is this an Angel?! A strange route for him – the same as for us fan events. In one of the timelines, for no apparent reason, the player suddenly reveals information about yourself, but this raises even more questions. What does all this even mean?

Since there is almost always a pun in the names of the characters in Toby Fox's games, you can just use the name to understand which family the character belongs to.

Anagrams are often found in the names of the Dreemurrs

Toriel Dreemur = Loiter Murderer

Asgore Dreemur = Serge or a murderer

Asriel Dreemur = Ralsei Dreemur = Serial murderer

Kris Dreemur = Risk murderer

Susie Dreemur = Isse murderer

At the same time, the Hollidays simply use any words related to Christmas for their names

Here's a collection of Legend of Tenna sprites I made for characters from chapter 1 and 2 (Tenna included for comparison), folllowing the same rules that the in game sprites do: 1. Graphics are made up of 8x8 tiles, and 2. Colors are limited to 3 per sprite. This rule is broken by the Kris and Ralsei sprites, which both have red added for their mantle and scarf. These are the same graphical limitations as the NES, and I think it's really cool that they payed so much attention for authenticity. It adds a lot!

Just imagine if the original was an Othertale, not an Undertale. Theories about Color are added to ALL theories about Gaster. Twice as many theories, mysteries and riddles. And in the end, it turns out that Sans is a guy selling hot dogs who befriended your mom.

In chapter five, a man hands you an egg and disappears forever without any explanation. However, the moss somehow becomes the only full-fledged confirmation of Gaster's presence in the game.

what if Nightmare turned to stone after being defeated by the Stars??

like, there would've been a huge battle and stuff and Nightmare would be forced to surrender and go back to his castle but there was just so much positivity in the multiverse after winning that Nightmare physically couldn't handle it. so, to protect the black apple, his body defends itself by turning to stone, and he can't do anything about it.

and Dream would be the first to find out, wouldn't he? after all, they are metaphysically connected in ways a mortal couldn't even comprehend.

Y'know, I find it kinda funny how sometimes very big plot points from Undertale have been... kinda ignored by the fandom for the sake of creation.

Like, for the biggest example, how monster souls work;

They aren't really able to be separated from the body, because both the soul and body would be destroyed. That was, like, the whole point of the Determination experiments: to circumvent that. Even Boss Monster souls only linger for a short time before shattering after the monster dies.

But we've had things with people touching each others souls, holding souls, and not to mention the whole thing with Error!Sans' anti-void.

Human souls, sure, I can assume that determination keeps them from straight-up shattering. But monster souls??

I was wondering what ink and killer's relationship is like, especially since killer joined the good side and stuff

Ink and Killer’s relationship is…deeply incompatible

But there’s something else too…curiosity in both sides

Ink finds killer like a new fun puzzle to pick in put apart while killer is trying to understand how ink exists in the first place it’s a game between them where they both lose

While Ink needs the Player’s love to create stories that need meaning in order to exist

Killer is what happens when that meaning is lost

He wants to be erased…but can’t because that same Player’s love keeps dragging him back

So their relationship ends up feeling almost symbolic

Ink tries to preserve narratives

Killer tries to prove they don’t matter
