The Foot Soldier

You are the evil lord's foot soldier, one of the weakest ranks that serve your lord. You don’t really agree with your leaders' or comrades' ideals that the strong have the right to step on the weak. When doing your daily rounds of guarding the lord's lair, the hero breaks in. This causes a catastrophic fight between your lord and the hero’s, one that only you witness. In the end, your lord dies, and the hero runs away, terribly wounded, leaving you next to the lord's body, where your comrades soon find you.

The Peeler’s

Deep in the ocean are the ‘Peelers’, skeleton creatures that resemble the remains of merfolk. If you were to fall into their territory, a swarm of them would come out and tear every bit of flesh from your body, discarding the meat. After they rip everything off, one of them will take out the sole organ in their body, the heart, and place it in the corpse. This will cause it to take control of the new body, regrow new flesh, and walk around on land.
