mystman12 has used the number 99 in a few of his works outside of Baldi's Basics.
Game & Wario Miiverse post
There's a Pictionary-style minigame in the Wii U title Game & Wario which lets you post your final drawings online. In response to the prompt "9", mystman12 drew a strained pair of eyeballs that resemble the 99 jumpscare from Baldi's Basics Classic.

2. "City Trail" April Fools joke
mystman12 once posted a game for April Fools day which claimed to be a remake of Kirby Air Ride's City Trial mode for SmileBASIC, but was really a jumpscare using the corrupted 99 image. This is the only DS game of his which is unavailable, as the download code doesn't work anymore and it was never archived.

3. You can shoot doughnuts in this game!
In mystman12's "You can shoot doughnuts in this game!", published to Scratch, there's a piece of code that plays a "WOO" sound after 99 seconds. This "WOO" sound is taken from the game Donkey Kong Country.

Although 99 definitely has its biggest role in Baldi's Basics, it's been present in mystman12's life for a while before the original game's release!
