part two of random marauders headcanons because i have nothing else to do. (pantheon edition)

regulus black has a bone collection. he has a habit of sneaking off into the forbidden forest late at night and collecting, using his animagus form to help him. his personal favorites are a polished deer skull and unicorn horn, and they sit quietly on a shelf in his room with his other treasures. he has a small scattering of crystals from pandora around them.

barty crouch jr has a crooked left ring finger. as a kid, he fell down repeatedly and broke it twice, so it's stuck in a strange shape. he likes making up stories as to how he attained it, and no one knows how he actually happened to break his finger. all they get is "when i was fighting off a horde of dragons..." and other fantastical stories. he's definitely slipped the real story in there once, but nobody caught him.

evan rosier's shoes break extremely quickly. he has no idea how, but every month he needs to go buy a new pair of converse because there are holes in the bottom or the heel has worn down. he tries to be as careful as possible, but someone with a passion for skateboarding and running around late at night can't have a nice pair of shoes. he's had duct tape wrapped around one of his shoes at multiple points, but he refuses to fix them with magic because it makes him look 'cooler.' it also angers his parents.

dorcas meadowes' closet is absolutely overflowing. everything she owns is black, so it's extremely difficult for her to tell between pieces as she chooses her outfit of the day. typically, she chooses her outfits the night before, but when she doesn't have time? Be ready for her room to be a mess of black dresses and tops. she hates to admit it, but it might be time to clean out her closet... (that's not going to happen.)

pandora rosier is extremely flexible. she believes that if she were in a circus, she'd be a contortionist. she has a habit of scaring people (mainly her friends' significant others...) by bending backwards and chasing them on all fours. she's very good at copying certain dance or gymnastics moves, even though she doesn't do many sports. it adds to her entity-like aura.

here are some random marauders headcanons because i have nothing else to do.

sirius black has surprisingly weak ankles and does NOT want anyone to know. oh, you think he looks cool wearing his doc martens all the time? he's hiding his ankle braces. james has had to help him walk/carry him a couple of different times because he's spontaneously tripped (the worst was when they were under the invisibility cloak post-prank trying to sneak past mcgonagall).

james potter has horrible handwriting. he tries his best, but every time he writes an essay, professors need to spend twice as long looking at his paper. if he's off on an early run, or going to get groceries, he'll leave a note-- but nobody except sirius can understand his messy scribble, and even he sometimes has difficulty.

remus lupin is addicted to energy drinks. the amount of times this man has drank enough caffeine to kill a horse for a midnight study session is genuinely concerning. coffee in the morning? only when he's feeling civilized. some days he just pounds back a red bull and heads to class. it helps him feel less bad after his monthly werewolf transformations.

peter pettigrew is able to predict relationships months in advance. he doesn't get the juicy details from either side (like james did with wolfstar), but he is very good at reading the room. he notices flirting extremely quickly, and calls himself "all-knowing" sometimes just to annoy his friends. (he was wolfstar's #1 fan for MONTHS before anyone else knew, including sirius and remus themselves.)
